I first found out about Bliss one year ago and couldn't get it out of my mind, so decided it was time to visit paradise! I had trouble choosing which of the sanctuaries to stay at as all looked equally fantastic, but was lucky enough to experience all three, with Canggu being my first. This was my first time travelling solo abroad and certainly won't be my last. If you're worried about being on your own, there is absolutely no need to be. I was suffering from jetlag but couldn't have been more welcomed. Everything throughout my stay from start to finish was thought of. From the driver waiting at the airport with a bottle of cold water and a folder with all the information you could possibly need for your arrival, to where you are greeted by your beautiful hostess and offered a welcome warm face cloth and smoothie. Even though I had previously seen pictures of the villa, I was still wowed with the impression it made on me. The personal touches such as your initial made out of frangipani flowers on your bed and coconut cream on black rice pudding makes you feel extra special. There even is a wellness bath menu, with the milk bath my favourite and if you want to buy any of the skincare used in the treatments to take home, this is arranged for you. The quality and comfort of the food to the rooms and everything in between is of the highest standard. Cocktails at a beach club with the hostess and other guests was so much fun, followed by a seafood barbecue back at the villa. The communal evening meals are a highlight of mine as it's a chance to talk with everyone while sharing the delicious fresh food, all lovingly prepared. You are treated like a queen by all of the staff who are such lovely, warm people. The drivers are amazing too and like your personal bodyguards, always making sure you are safe. Any activities you wish to take part in are organised for you in advance. A big thank you to Eka and Ani :) The in house yoga was a bonus with an amazing teacher. I have never written a review before but felt I needed to let every woman know how fantastic the Bliss Sanctuary is. I have never experienced such an amazing holiday - the staff just organise everything......the only thing I had to decide was what I wanted to eat and drink....and then they made it!! It was next level service...for example, a driver to take you wherever you wanted to go....then on return, offering to call ahead my lunch order so that I could eat as soon as I got back! If you need a break from doing everything yourself and have as many spa treatments you want....then Bliss would be prefect for you!

I decided to do a 7 days wellness program with Bliss Sanctuary Canggu for my bday week and it was the best decision and gift for my body and soul. It was a real super recharged week with doing things at my own time and leisure. The unlimited massage and food to dine whenever you like is phenomenal. The staff are amazing, very friendly and greets you with a smile. They make you feel at ease and made sure that everything is done according to how you want it. Nothing is impossible with any of your request and I think they are the bloodline of the sanctuary. I highly recommend for everyone reading this to try and experience your own Bliss and just relax, recharge and rejuvinate.

The Sanctuary is so beautiful and everything you need is there. It is beautifully appointed but the very best part was the staff and the guests. All of the staff were so friendly and did absolutely everything they could to make my stay blissful. The driver was great. The gardener keeps the grounds immaculate. The kitchen staff cook amazing meals at your request and nothing is an effort for them. The food is delicious and healthy. The lovely ladies who do the treatments are all very skilled and sweet and managed to iron out all my kinks. The treatments are amazing. The hostesses Ani and Eka are so determined to make everything perfect that you cannot help but have a fabulous time. They are like good friends and so efficient. Any issues you may have are immediately taken care of and all your wants and needs are met. I spent most of my time at the sanctuary and it was heaven on earth. Bliss Canggu was definitely Bliss! The staff were amazing and nothing was too much for them, I felt so well looked after and so relaxed the entire time I was there. The massages daily are absolutely fabulous and the treatments make you feel like a new person. If you’re thinking of booking stop thinking and do it, you honestly won’t regret it! From the moment you arrive at the airport until the moment you leave is pure heaven! I cannot wait to return to Bliss in the future. Thank you too all the staff for making my time there so great.

As the name suggests, this place is Bliss. The rooms are exquisite, the staff are absolutely gorgeous, the treatments are divine and the food is amazing. If you’re looking for a reset it’s the place to go. I travelled alone but felt super safe and was never once lonely. It’s on my list to go back to. Would highly recommend.

I rarely write reviews, but I want to share my experience at Bliss because it was beyond amazing! I was going through a painful time in my life and decided to go to Bliss in an “impulse buy”, and I am so glad I did it! This was the best gift I could ever give myself! I arrived at Denpasar airport very late in the evening, and there was Wayan (one of Bliss’ drivers) waiting for me with a big smile on his face! Traveling solo for the first time in my life was somewhat worrisome, but I felt extremely safe right away! We arrived at the sanctuary around 2am. Wayan showed me my room and brought me a delicious smoothie that the ladies had already prepared for me. On my bed, a big “G” made with flowers and a welcoming handwritten card. More flowers on the floor and all over the bathroom. My bedroom was just soooo beautiful and welcoming, and the bathroom was even more gorgeous than the pictures can show! The sanctuary feels like a piece of heaven! The garden and the pool is absolutely beautiful! And despite the constructions going around, the noise wasn’t bothersome at all. The property feels so quiet and peaceful! Next morning I met Ani (one of the hostess) and most of her team. Everyone knew my name already and I felt as if we were long time friends! They all truly welcome you with so much care and an open heart as if you were family! Ani is so sweet and funny, and her whole team is just as sweet! They go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of! Ani is always smiling and making sure you have the best time ever! Along with Eka (the other hostess), which is also so sweet and funny as well hahaha, they took care of everything for me! I literally felt a princess every day hahaha! From organizing the activities I wanted to experience to booking my treatments (they want to make sure you get at least two hours of treatment every day), all is taken care for! The therapists (Dessy, Vera, and Kerti) are all wonderful! I had the best massages and treatments ever! One of my favorites was the “Pom Pom” (as Eka call it hahaha) massage. Ah and you definitely don’t want to miss the hair treatment either ;) Ketut (also one of the drivers) was also extremely nice (and funny) made sure to take me everywhere I wanted with so much patience with the crazy traffic in Bali. Not only Ketut and Wayan, but all the drivers were very friendly, patient, and made me feel very safe! Wayan took me for a surfing lesson one day and he even took pictures for me! And Ketut did the same when he took me on a day trip to Ubud! There absolutely go above and beyond! Thank you much guys! guys! Now about the food… The food is absolutely AMAZING!!! Viko and her team prepare a lovely dinner every night in which all the guests staying at Bliss have the opportunity to connect and talk about their day (if you are not comfortable in joining the group you can also order your food and take to your room). I truly enjoyed joining the group very night. We had good laughs and so many stories to share! I’ve made friends for life! During the day you can order food any time! ANYTIME!!! The ladies from the kitchen (which are also so sweet and kind) offer you food all the time making sure you don’t get hungry! They even prepared some take out for me one day that I living very early to go to the Elephant Park! One of my favorite dishes was the coconut prawns (I don’t even like prawns and turned out it was one of my favorites. Yes, that’s how good the food is!) The smoothies were also delicious! And to be honest, there was nothing on the menu that I didn’t like! Thank you Viko and team for all the love you put in your food — it shows! My whole experience was truly transformative! I came back home feeling relaxed, restored, and in so much peace with myself and the circumstances I am going through. I feel healed inside out! Body, mind, and soul! I am so grateful and forever will be for everyone who took care of me at Bliss (including the security guard, gardener who also made sure I felt safe and even went to the store for me!) Other reviewers have said the same - it is the most nourishing, relaxing and restorative experience you'll ever have. In a beautiful calm setting, I particularly liked the freedom to choose each day's treatment and/or outing rather than being tied to a predetermined programme. It was wonderful from start to finish. I left Bliss 2 weeks ago but it has once again left a lasting impression on me. This was my 7th stay at Bliss and my 5th at Canggu. It feels like coming home every time I return. The wonderful Bliss family welcome me back with hugs and genuine pleasure every time. It's the wonderful team at Bliss that make it so amazing - yes the villa is lovely but it's the love and care from the team that make Bliss so special. I left feeling so nurtured and cared for...from the wonderful treatments, to the amazing food, the beautiful gardens and feelings of safety provided by the drivers and security. If you're thinking of going, just do it. It's a gift to yourself that you will definitely not forget.
