Location is very good and the beds are very comfortable. However. The whole hotel is dark and looks nothing like the photos on the website. The lobby has mosquitos everywhere, after we checked in we both had 10+ bites. Mosquitos also cover the swimming pool area and the seating there so we had to stay in the room. There were no windows in the room so it was very weird having no natural light. Bathroom smelt very weird. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else are unfortunately it was not pleasant. Staff are very nice however.

You get what you pay for. It's pretty cheap for it's location as it's in the middle of everything in Canggu and only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. The room was pretty spacious and clean, but the bathroom can do with an update. Staff helped us rent a scooter which was super easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Caroline Guest House.

Over my expectations! Me and my friend shared a two bed room. They cleaned everyday and staff were helpful. The only down was the noice from the road down below. Price was good. The nasi goreng for breakfast was tasty but the toast bread & coffee not so much. Close to beach.
Would go back!

I enjoyed my stay in caroline guest house
I got my early check in as my request.
Room is clean, smells good, but air conditioner need to be more cooler,
Good for value.

The swimming pool is too deep, it's should be 1.5m but it was 1.7m something.

Overall is great.

We only stayed here two nights. We needed this as a base for visiting the beach in Canggu. It was a great little spot, the beds were huge and the pillows were so soft! The air con worked well and the staff were friendly. The pool is inside, right outside peoples rooms so the water is freezing with it being shaded. The breakfast is simple (toast and cereal) but starts the day off. There is pool and darts available for free in the lobby and if you want to mix with people you can here.
They seem very new as there’s minor things that need smoothing over but it is an up and coming great place if they continue their work.

Only complaint id have is the noise. There was work going on but that was fine as we were notified once we checked in and it was only 9-5pm. However they must set up for breakfast around 7am and they are really loud when doing so. So if you’re a light sleeper, get some ear plugs. It’s not enough to put you off staying here! Also if you want peace and quiet, probably don’t stay here because there’s music playing and people coming in late. Which didn’t bother us, but just a heads up.

Stayed here for 2 nights in early June 2019. The hotel is very new and has an under cover pool

My room was great, spacious, a comfy double bed and very clean sheets and nice fluffy towels. Well presented and very clean overall There was a fridge with a mini bar, TV, air condition was good. The bathroom was basic, however the shower was very small and the water pressure wasn't good during my stay.

I didn't have breakfast just a coffee

The location is good, Echo Beach is about a 5 minute walk away, also close a good variety of cafes, restaurants, mini marts and places for a drink.
The staff are all very professional and extremely helpful.. Book a couple of nights at Caroline Guest House you wont be disappointed

We’ve been staying at this place for over two weeks now as it’s so cheap and so convenient for us going to the co-working space everyday (4 min walk).
Breakfast is included (but this is just toast or cereal). We stay in the superior rooms which are super big and rooms are cleaned everyday.
The hotel is undergoing work and 8am expect to hear drilling and banging. The owner has done everything on the cheap, our door did not fit the door frame, the fake wooden floors are bubbling/peeling, you can barely keep a passport in the tiny safe and the shower pressures aren’t great, but I guess you can’t complain being so cheap. Two bottles of water a day included which is a nice touch and a fridges are in the room with hairdryers in bathroom. Will keep staying here.

If you are in Bali to party and don't mind people swimming in the pool outside your door at 4am, then this place is for you! People coming home drunk too all throughout the night. The rooms are okay, the air con is good... although there was some sort of yellow goo in our kettle and the shower stopped working as it was full of limestone. Not for people wanting to relax.

We loved our stay here which ever led us to extending for a few nights. The beds are very big and the room is spacious. The wifi is very strong and the breakfast was very nice. The staff were always so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Laundry was very cheap and came back ironed and smelling fresh. There is also a pool table, darts board and playing cards. Lastly, the location is just amazing - right by very nice restaurants and just minutes from the beach. A must stay!
