To be honest I didn’t know what to expect from Bali and I was constantly reminded that the island and infrastructure is a bit run down. Although it true, the level of service and genuine hospitality in Canggu has been one of the best I have experienced in the world. The rooms are spacious and you have the option of two pools to chill in. Anggu and his team certainly made sure I was looked after through out my 6 Day stay. I was more impressed that even the cleaning and service staff was also very well trained
The rooms are serviced regularly. They also come in the early evening just to spray the mosquito repellent which I thought was a nice touch. Unfortunately there was still one or two in the room at night, but then it is Bali so it is what it is.
The Zin Cafe provides excellent inclusive breakfast options on their a la carte menu, which is a nice change from the standard buffet and honestly better. I would say the western options are better than the Asian options but the standard is generally decent.
The spa is small but has everything you would need and with the locations of two different rooms I certainly enjoyed booking more than one massage.
The only one thing I would say is that although, my fault, that I accidentally booked a 2 person breakfast inclusive stay for this solo trip. It would have been lovely if they can rectify it when I was checking in instead of me paying for breakfast for two.
The other plus side of this hotel is the location. There is a yoga sanctuary across the hotel and provide cheap and really high quality teaching for yoga classes throughout the day.
Overall I would definitely come back to stay at Zin and maybe try out the other rooms in the future.

So yes: a business trip and my wife has a rest :). Very, very nice and helpful staff on site. Food very good. Large, spacious rooms, flat-screen TV with Netflix, etc. Fast internet. Several nice places to work at the computer throughout the resort. Swimming pool next to the room and two slightly larger ones on the premises. One massage per stay (6 days) included in the price. The location is two steps from the beach where there is a bar with drinks, sushi, etc. (not ZIN). Two steps from the center - 7 minutes on foot or Gojek (scooters) two minutes. Two steps from a store with basic products. A few pubs around. Peace and quiet at night :). Gym - spinning. Submitting a few hours of stay - free of charge if, of course, there is no reservation for the next guest. If this is not possible, a shower with a towel, soap, etc. is available. And the cherry on the cake - BE ARE ZINNER. You absolutely must join the ZINNER club upon check-in - I won't say what it is, but it's a very nice surprise later. Nice Villa rooms and great location just a short half block walk to the beach. Not much to not like about this place. Great large rooms, Great service, Private pool (or shared pool), Spa, Full restaurant includes breakfast, great location and a free cocktail at an 8-9pm Happy Hour! You can walk to shopping a few blocks away (Love Anchor was best for souvenirs). Milk and Madu was a nice pizza restaurant nearby (if you want a break from Asian food). Sunsets on the beach are amazing, but you'll be there with many others (many selfie loving fanatics)! Long traffic times anywhere you go though (2 hrs just to Uluwatu or 1.5 to Sanur Pier or Kuta Beach).

Zinc was an excellent choice in Canggu, not disappointed with the services and quality of service. The bedding in the room is just perfect and the towels are extremely soft. We had a welcome cocktail served in the room, another cocktail of your choice at the bar with the good advice of Puspita then a foot massage on the bed in our room with each person having their own masseuse, truly incredible. We really weren't disappointed, everything was really perfect, nothing to complain about. The hotel is quiet, 2 steps from the beach, just choose where you want to go out. Passing by the beach you are 10 minutes walk from the beach bars. The atmosphere in this hotel is chic and chill.

Zin Canggu is in the perfect location, close to all of the best eateries. The accommodation is very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and very helpful at assisting and providing suggestions. Zin Spa has beautiful massages. Zin Fit Gym is exceptional and everything you need to keep exercising.
The only negative is at night time there is an outdoor nightclub close by which starts at around 10pm and goes to approximately 3am, due to the rooms being a bamboo roof there is no insulation from this noise and it is very loud which affected our sleep. Ear plugs and a white noise machine were provided to assist. When asked if this happens every night we were assured it was not every night. Our stay was for 6 nights and it was for every night of the 6.

This is the best place to stay in Canggu! Each cluster of rooms has its own pool so I basically felt like I had a private pool. Super clean rooms, excellent food, amazing foot massage upon arrival. Absolutely fabulous experience! And one block from the beach entrance. Make sure to take a reformer class too at their nextdoor gym. It rivals a NYC class!
My one complaint is you can hear the noise of the neighboring club so make sure to bring ear plugs. Luckily the front desk offered a great noise canceling machine for my room and brought it to me at 1am. What service!!

This was our first international trip as a family with an 11 month old and the team at Zin were so friendly, accomodating and thoughtful during our stay!
We stayed in the bamboo bungalow room which was amazing and really spacious and comfortably fit a travel cot with heaps of mat space for our bub to crawl and play, the beds were so big and comfortable however we did find the pillows were slightly to firm/high so having an alternative thinner pillow available would be good. The pool was the perfect size for an morning dip however it’s worth noting these are shaded and a bit too cool for a bub - the two main pools are in sunshine so a comfortable temperature.
A lot of comments mention the music/loud noise from the rooftop bar and you can definitely hear it everywhere in the complex, however this did not effect our sleep or our baby’s sleep very much at all we just had the white noise going and it was just an additional background noise. The music is to be expected as you are close to the beach and the Bali tourist culture includes beach clubs/bars so you will likely experience it to an extend everywhere in these high tourist areas.
We also loved the continence of having really good and affordable massage/pampering services onsite so we did not need to leave the hotel!
The onsite cafe also has an really good selection of meals and made it easy to cater for our Bub who enjoyed the fruit/smoothie bowls and an egg omelette daily for breakfast! The staff were so friendly and got to know our morning coffee orders which was so lovely - highly recommend trying the golden milk which was amazing and definitely one of the best I have had.
We loved the location which was easy walking distance to nearby shops, beach, cafes, yoga studios.
Overall we were so glad we stayed at zin and would recommend it to others!

Wow, where do I even start. This place is magical and in the most perfect place for everything you need, the location is also very good and close. We understood that canggu was very party island but this hotel brings so much peace, relaxation and just a completely different vibe. The evenings can be quite noisey being so local and in the centre but the hotel provide ear plugs and that didn’t bother us as such when the hotel is so great with everything else, the interior of the hotel is incredible, it’s so beautiful, every little detail is just fabulous and so clean, especially the cleaning service, our rooms were perfect within an hour of leaving the room. They’re on top form all the time. The staff to the rooms everything is absolutely beautiful and perfect. The staff are so hardworking, so kind and friendly it’s a breath of fresh air, they’re beyond helpful with everything and really love having a good chat, which is so nice, the staff are constantly checking in, they have an amazing WhatsApp service that anything you need will be right there, we defiantly would recommend and without question will be back again, staying in this exact hotel.

Very cozy hotel with a good atmosphere, mix of expatriates who come to work and quiet tourists. The atmosphere is chic and relaxed at the same time, very exotic in a typically tasteful Balinese style. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff helpful. It is also very well located, almost immediately close to the beach, at the end of a busy shopping street, but due to its location the traffic at its level is not very intense, a little haven of peace in the middle of life rhythm of Canggu.
