The Soldotna Inn is a cute little hotel that is very convenient on the north side of town. The staff is very nice, the young man at the front desk even spotted me a buck so I could buy a soda. One caution, the hotel is pet friendly so if you have allergies take caution. Good value though and a...

Recently stayed here for a dog show with a friend. The rooms are older and they have both an under and an outer door. The decor is older and a bit run down but my first impression was it was clean. I did drop some change on the floor the first day and it did stay on the floor in...

We decided to spend the night in Soldotna at the last minute. We needed a pet friendly place and this was it. $105 for two queen beds in summer. Good rate. Hotel was clean and tidy. No recent updates to the hotel but the room smelled fresh. Would recommend to someone needing a basic room for the night or someone...

We got the king size bed upstairs. Big room, near the parking lot and the road of course (it's next to the road!). But it really wasn't noisy. They have done a great job insulating it. Every room was full that night and we didn't notice guests' noise. I am glad we stayed and would encourage others to ignore comments...

We have a production company that films in Alaska every year. This is our favorite place to stay hands down. The restaurant is awesome. The staff and rooms are perfect and reasonably priced for the location.

A rather last moment change of plans (due exceptionally poor silver fishing in Valdez) meant we were scrambling for a place to stay in Valdez. We stayed here because a room was available for $25 less than anywhere else called. So I was pleasantly surprised by the decent sized room, cleanliness of the room and bathroom, comfortable beds and sheets,...

I have read some of the reviews on this hotel and it is not as bad as people say. It is just an older hotel thats all. The room I stayed in was very clean, just older furniture and things. They do have a flat screen TV in the room however, with plenty of channels. The front desk clerks are...

This place was advertised as being cozy. This probably meant small rooms. The beds were uncomfortable although the bedding was clean and nice. The hotel is also located on a noisy street. The price was right but the location is not so great.

I found it to be pretty quiet. We were on second floor facing the highway, but had a double window which did block out the noise. Even slept through a pretty spectacular thunderstorm, so the double windows worked. I am a light sleeper too. The rooms were clean. Staff were friendly. Would probably stay again. A little pricey for what...

I stayed at the Soldotna Inn Friday July 12, 2013. I was in town for a dog show, and I needed a dog friendly hotel. I got to the hotel late per my reservation. I was put in the room next to the office, 102-I could hear the machines in the office as well as a compressor of some sort....
