Soldotna is the perfect base to explore the Kenai peninsula and A Rivers Edge B&B is the perfect place to stay. We stayed there at the end of our 16 day trip to Alaska and it was the most comfortable place we stayed. Wish we had arranged to stay longer. There are extra large 2 rooms each with its own...

A bed and breakfast on the Kenai River, less than 5 minutes from town on a quiet street surrounded by trees in Soldotna. Forrest is a wonderful host, making a wonderful breakfast each morning. She is engaging and accommodating to help make the most of your time. If your lucky the moose stop by for a visit. The Americana Room...

"A River's Edge B&B" may be the BEST experience for a tourist or temporary resident in Alaska. This B&B is located on the bank of the world famous Kenai River about 100 feet away from a very quiet street (Daisy Lane) in Soldotna, Alaska. It is owned by Forest and Oscar Nelson, who are down-to-earth, gracious and friendly hosts. Clean,...

We recently stayed at Forrest and Oscar's place for a week. We enjoyed every minute and caught more fish than we knew what to do with. Good river access and nice people. Already planning our next trip but with a longer stay.

A river's edge was the last place we stayed in Alaska. It was a perfect stop between Homer and Anchorage before we had to head to the airport. The room was large and had plenty of room for us and our daughter. Forrest made a wonderful, fresh breakfast for us to enjoy. Forrest had many recommendations on where to go...

My wife and I stayed there one night and enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Americana Room and it was nicely equipped and clean. The host/owner Bonnie was very sweet and we enjoyed talking to her. She had to leave the B&B fairly early so we didn't get the full breakfast but she left a lot of breakfast items...

Yes, it was not our first visit to River's Edge B and B. Hopefully it won't be our last. Forrest and her hubby Oscar are proprietors. Forrest is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the area. Her rooms are huge, extremely clean. Large bathrooms with the best towels ever! The bed was the MOST COMFORTABLE bed we slept...

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our honeymoon from the UK. We really enjoyed it and are very thankful to Forrest and Oscar for their warm welcome and hospitality. Our room was great and just what we needed. It was very spacious and comfy! We had to change plans during our stay (weather problems) and Forrest was...

We stayed here for a couple nights and absolutely loved it. We had Wifi and TV with a large room. It also felt very private as you are on one side of the house whilst the family live on the other side. The house is on the banks of the magnificent Kenai river and it was lovely sitting on their...
