Old (but not in a quaint way), bit dingy. Very unfriendly front desk who could not have cared less if we stayed there or not- I honestly think they would have preferred we didn't stay because they were between shifts and neither lady wanted to wait on us. Beds with thread baring old wrinkled sheets, no air conditioning, screen broken...

I have never stayed at the Valley Hotel. I do live locally, and the Valley Restaurant is my go- to place for breakfast. This is a diner, make no mistake. This is a favorite with locals for a reasonably priced tasty meal. The Valley is open 24/7. Wonderful servers, large and diverse menu, and reasonable prices. Easy parking, and in...

I enjoy the visits to the hotel often. As owner/operator of Alaska Lakes Guide Service LLC I refer all my clients here when they are visiting for Ice Fishing trips during the winter or summer trips for salmon. The food is amazing and the rooms are suitable for fishermen.

I had breakfast and lunch here a couple of times again on my recent trip! The food is always tasty, the portions are large, the service is good and the prices are reasonable!! I try to eat here a couple of times whenever I am in the area! All the breakfast dishes are good with large portions! Lunch and dinner...

There are only a few choices for lodging in Palme AK This place was right in town and was clean, the beds were great and there is a bar and restaurant. Breakfast is not included with the room. Close to Hatcher pass

Small rooms, clean and comfortable. Rustic. Attached restaurant with good food, open 24 hours. Attached bar. All reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful staff. No elevator, so they changed my room to the lowest floor with rooms. My Hallway rug is very dirty and needs changing. Good value

Just convenient. Probably the worst bed on the planet! Besides uncomfortable, stubbed our toes on the bed pedestal. Had to get a hair dryer from the front desk. Took an hour to check in. But everyone was nice and accommodating. Price too high for what you get. Restaurant also convenient but just ok food. Good view of mountains if not...

I really enjoyed the charm of Palmer Alaska and this wonderful nugget of history. Clean refurbished rooms with a fridge, a diner from the past with desserts out of this world. The Caboose serves up pizza and cold ciders. Get steeped in Alaska history. WIFI a tad disrupted. Stayed in lobby when I needed work done. Smaller rooms and access...

This little place was very disappointing. The only upside was NO bedbugs but the room was loud, no blow dryer, no shampoo, no soap, no coffee pot and things in the room didn't work. Alarm clock broken, TV broken, phone broken.... It was loud all night long... However the lounge did have decent food. Free internet but the signal was...

Good location with clean room and a restaurant just off the lobby. The food is good and prices are reasonable for both the hotel and restaurant. I would definitely stay here again when passing through or visiting in town.
