We stopped in here after hiking through the area. We each had a beer. There's nothing on tap just bottles. The employees didn't seem very interested in talking! I had questions that went unanswered. There are a lot of neat pictures on the walls that tell some of the history, though. The coal burning stove was a cool feature!

There couldn't be a better place location wise to enjoy the hatcher pass area as the cabins and lodge are right at the base of the recreation area. The service was good and cabins were basic as expected. The vibe was awesome up there.

Set among beautiful countryside we found Hatcher Pass Lodge. Just called in for a coffeee and toilets since unsur in this huge State when our next stop would be. Found the service very courteous and extremely good and would recommend stopping off here.

The landscape is beautiful and the mine is extraordinary, but Hatcher Pass Lodge is not. There is no running water in the bathroom and the smell of the portapotty is awful. It's too bad the cabins aren't better looking inside, I think it could be a nice place to stay. Unfortunately, we didn't stay the night and lost 150 dollars.

We did not stay here, only took a break in our way back to Palmer. I had two beers and my wife had a hot chocolate, the service was super excellent, we were treated like family and were given all kind of suggestions. As I stated in the title, the place is unique with great views from inside the restaurant/bar...

Stopped by there on the way back from the AK State Fair. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and the Views!!! Are some of the Best in Alaska!! It's a great get-away and, breakfast was superb! If you like quiet hideaways and you don't need "fluff"! This is the place for you!

We happened upon this place while driving Hatcher Pass. The lodge has a small, intimate restaurant with a good variety of food fare. This interested us in looking into staying at the cabins in the future. Beautiful views from extra large windows looking into the valley.

Rustic Alaskan getaway not for the faint of heart. This is the real deal Alaskan experience including a chemical toilet, a dry sink and a blue jug of water for a hand rinse. Think tacky plastic tablecloth, ancient toyo type heating stove and uncomfortable beds (our cabin's 20 year old pull out sofa was not functional because broken springs) with...

You have to stay at these cabins to enjoy nature. The views from all the cabins are mind blowing. You can see clouds passing by and at one point your cabin will be surrounded by clouds! The cabins do not have showers or a regular toilet, they do have a porta potti, which works fine. You can go to the...

Nice place to stay in Hatcher Pass. Roomy rustic cabins, don't let the outside size fool you. Plenty of room to spread out. No running water in cabins. RV toilets. Beautiful views. Affordable prices. Lodge offers good family food.
