We stayed in cabin 22. It was spotless and beautifully built, over looking Summit Lake. There was a family of loons which sounded lovely as we awoke for a full day of fishing. Staff are terrific and arranged our charter and packed breakfast. For dinner i chose red salmon over risotto. The salmon was good yet the the risotto was...

Our room was in the "old lodge" that fronted the highway. The room was clean and cozy but didn't have a TV. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was updated. The deck was a nice place to sit outside to talk and enjoy the view. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. My husband and I were very...

We stayed three nights and booked the explorer package. The package included breakfast and dinner and food was good and had lots of options to choose from. The lodge is cozy and the young staff is friendly and helpful. We rented mountain view cabin 17 and it was a very unpleasant experience. The cabin is located literally 20 yards of...

enjoyed the secluded retreat near the beautiful mountains. loved the lake and the trail around the lake. BREAKFAST was very good and quite filling. Dinner options are limited for vegetarians but what they made was very tasty esp the pasta. the kids enjoyed the basketball court outside and the horseshoe game a lot. wifi only at lobby though.

We stayed in the historic lodge room. It's just too cramped up at just 180 square feet. There was very little room to move about. I would suggest paying a few $$$ more and getting any of the bigger rooms. Also there is no wifi in the room but you get a pretty good 3G connection so you can still...

The location is exceptionally beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is very good. The price of 'Historic rooms' is high considering to their size. Rent a cabin and you have more space. Highly recommended!

Loved this place. We had a lakeside cabin and it was perfection. Spacious, well-laid out, gorgeous view! We loved the in-room coffee, the big, fluffy towels, the gas-burning fireplace, the nice big porch, the comfy bed, the free hot breakfast...the list goes on. We used it as a base for excursions to Seward and Cooper Landing and both were beautiful...

What a place! We had a gorgeous, spacious well set up cabin which only lacked a great view. Next time we would opt for a lake view cabin. The staff were friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed interesting in our travels and having a chat (whilst doing their jobs very well). The lake itself is a highlight and the lodge...

we stayed here recently in the historic rooms. we had a comfy bed and bathroom. breakfast was included with the stay and you could order from the menu. a drive anywhere went quickly as you sat back and took in the scenery. there was on sight laundry, Wi-Fi in main building, store/snack bar and a lake with boats for fishing....

My son and I stayed at this property for three nights. It was beautiful and relaxing. The cabins were nicely decorated and well furnished. The complimentary, cook-to-order breakfast was very good. Cabins are located approximately one hour south of Anchorage and an hour north of Seward. Complimentary wifi is available in the lodge, but not in the cabins. I'm looking...
