The hotel is rundown and dirty. Drunks walking the halls. Drunk sleeping on sidewalk in front of the hotel. Our window did not lock and it wasn’t repaired. TV remote didn’t work. No coffee in lobby. No breakfasts. Do not stay here! Really bad!
This has got to be the very worst place to stay in Ketchikan.....They say they have new furniture an its under new management ...WE DID NOT SEE ANY OF THAT AT ALL.... The rooms were dirty, smelt really bad an the beds were made horrible, dirty comfronters an sheets ... DO NOT STAY HERE ........ We left and went to another motel ...the best thing we ever did .....
Very rude wild eyed front desk clerk , swearing and yelling the F bomb at us because she was inadequate at helping us with a reservation concern . No shuttle service and no room service , not worth it
They advertise a shuttle but no shuttle, no one at the desk when we checked in, the elevator looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a month and part of the panel was held together with scotch tape, more water came out of the faucet leak than the faucet head, volume control on tv was sporadic, and the final issue (not seen until the morning) was the blood or puke or whatever gross substance on the side of the box spring. The only plus were the young eagles hanging out in the parking lot....good pictures.
Called a couple weeks prior to our stay to ask staff about adjustments to amenities, such as breakfast and shuttle service. The response was "all is good and we're here to welcome you with our amenities available." When we arrived, we were informed that no shuttle service was available, nor breakfast. The rationale given was COVID safety, but it was blatant cost control. COVID safety measures would suggest the hotel featured frequent cleaning of high-touch surfaces, thoughtful mask wearing in line with the hotel's posted signage, etc.
