We loved our stay at The Inn at Creek Street’s Harborview one bedroom apartment. When we arrived we had a small problem that was promptly addressed by Sarah, who was wonderful. She helped us carry our bags upstairs and oriented us about things to do. We had such good food and friendly service at the New York Cafe that we took all our meals there. The breakfasts are so hearty we ate only that and dinner each day. After each day of walking all over Ketchikan we were happy to relax in our cozy living room with its sweeping view out over the small boat harbor. We were there midweek but didn’t notice any noise or other distractions out on the street. On our last morning Sarah returned to help with our bags and drive us to the ferry. We really appreciated all she did for us. We absolutely would stay there again!

I'm hard-pressed to give this a whole two stars, but it also isn't just a one-star rating. The location is amazing, of course. You can't beat them on this anywhere in Ketchikan if you're there as a tourist. In our case, we were right on the creek, and we could see the creek day or night, as well as salmon, seals, and eagles. There didn't seem to be a lot of good room options - we wanted two beds, and the only option available (booking a couple months ahead) was a bed and a sofa bed. Fine, except it wasn't. Both beds were awful. The place was so dirty, and in need of major maintenance. The faucet in the kitchen wasn't actually attached to the sink, the windows were in bad shape, the window coverings weren't working right, the tub and floor was beat up. There was just garbage everywhere - next to the bed, under the couch when pulling out the bed. The sheets were fairly clean, but the pillows and comforter were disgusting. The mirror was dirty, the room needed dusting. It was just very disappointing for the potential and price paid here. I know Austin was trying, at least, but they left him pulled way too thin. I know getting help is a challenge right now, but if you can't offer a product that is even acceptable, don't offer it at all. My usual details: Comparison to others in chain: N/A Internet: Not the worst Breakfast: N/A - don't think one was offered Room: Airbnb-esque. A suite, bed in loft, nice layout Cleanliness: Pretty bad. The linens were pretty clean, but the pillows, comforter, under the hide-a-bed, dusting, etc. was disgusting Bed: Like sleeping on a diving board Bedding: fine Shower: poor drainage, and low pressure at shower head (not because the hotel is old) Hard water: No HVAC: No AC Location: Great Noise: Pipes, people, very loud Staff: He was trying his hardest Cost/Value: Pretty expensive for what it ended up being

My mother and I stayed in the city apartment for one week. It was really great to have a home away from home where we could cook meals and relax, with a little more space than a hotel room would provide. We had a great view of the marina and EASY access to downtown. It might not be accessible for you if you have trouble with stairs but my mother, in her 70s, was able to manage it. The pull out couch bed was a little rough and could use an upgrade but that for me was a minor inconvenience which was offset by the fact that the apartment had a washer and dryer in unit! I would stay here again on future trips for certain.

This is a wonderful, clean hotel in the heart of downtown Ketchikan. No need for a car you can walk everywhere and they provide a shuttle to the airport. Kind staff who out of their way to help you with luggage and ensuring that you have a wonderful time. The rooms are decorated like you are staying in a home guest room with heated floors in the bathrooms and a soaking tub! I was here on work and was able to explore Ketchikan during the evening hours. Will stay again.

We stayed in the Bayview building with a lovely view of the creek and the bay. From our room, we watched the creek go up and down with the tide, watched a sea lion swim around and saw multiple bald eagles fly by. It was wonderful. The hotel is in the middle of the city. Everything is within walking distance. Plus, the city bus is a great way to get around. The cruise ships haven’t started up yet. So we had the town to ourselves. We took a kayaking tour and ended up being the only ones touring. The hotel staff was awesome with loads of great suggestions.
