The last time I stayed at the Goldbelt Hotel was in 2011 - on a return trip just recently I was surprised to see that the upgrades that they've implemented. Turns out they'll be a Four Points of Sheraton next year (ah-ha!). My room was spacious and the linens (and new furnishings) were all a pleasant surprise. I had a...

Great hotel for convenience. Short walk to anything you want and a short, easy drive to anything else. The nearby trails are incredible for hiking and the scenery is beautiful. The salmon were just starting to run and that is a must see.

Could not be better located to take advantage of the Juneau sites. No need for a car as you are in walking distance of the city sites. The attached restaurant offered great casual dining in a sports bar atmosphere. Hearty breakfast with huge portions got me on my way. Want to say a special note of appreciation for the help...

We stayed on the 6th floor on the harbor view side, and were treated to the most awesome Independence Day fireworks ever!!! The room was good: Comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The outside portico needs paint and the lobby and lobby restrooms need work. Important to note: THERE IS NO FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE. Taxi service to the airport costs...

We were there from 30 June to 4 July. The room, amenities, front desk and restaurant were fantastic, All staff were friendly and very accommodating. Great location with excellent access to all of downtown, easily a very "walking" area.

The hotel has obviously recently undergone renovation inside and is simple and lovely and conveniently located downtown within walking distance of pretty much all of town. A nice crisp white bathroom and comfortable beds along with thick duvets are in each spacious room. In the evening, I was thinking the thick duvet may be too thick but I could crack...

The rooms were great nothing fancy but functional. The waterside rooms on the upper floor have great views especially of cruise ships at night. The room was warm and they didn't have air conditioning but it's Alaska so that's not a big deal, opening the window solved that problem. The fine gentleman Shannon at the front desk was very kind...

Thank you for your comment and we appreciate your business. The average temperature in Juneau for the hottest months of the year (June and July) is 63 degrees Fahrenheit. We do get an occasional warm day, and this summer has been one of the best ever. On those warm days, staff and I will try to get into the rooms...

My stay - June 21-29, 2016. The hotel is in the final stages of renovations. It looks like they are just working on the outside now. The rooms are done. They are not fancy by any means. The beds are comfortable. That is a huge plus after a long day of hiking. However, the comforters are way too heavy. They...
