We couldn’t have chosen a more magical location for our dream wedding! Maryann was so wonderful to us & took care of everything. Pearson’s Pond was beautiful, luxurious, & peaceful. We had lots of activities available to us even though it’s early spring. We went...More
We had a great Alaskan adventure staying at Pearson's Pond. Its wilderness location is ideal--just a few minutes from the Mendenhall Glacier and some great hikes, and within ten minutes of both the airport (floatplane flights to see grizzlies and glaciers), and Auke Bay (whale...More
Beautiful, sumptuous luxury right on the brink of nature. The whole property is sculpted and relaxing, but the real treat is Maryann's generous and sincere hospitality. The place literally has all you need, I didn't even have to leave for a few days! Lots of...More
We cannot say enough about Pearson‘s Pond. From its picturesque setting all the way to the hospitable owner, Maryann, it was, hands-down, our best trip and most memorable moment ever!
The inn itself is nestled in a beautiful part of Juneau, and as the name...More

There are taxis in Juneau that run 24/7, but you will want to make a reservation in advance because they do not usually have any waiting at the ferry. Juneau Taxi can be reached at (907) 790-4511. Keep that number with you because you may need to call them again once you arrive.
If you have an interest in having your own transportation while in Juneau, there is a used car rental company that will put a rental at the ferry terminal. This is Juneau Car Rentals at (907) 789-0951.
I hope you have a great trip

Winter is the best time for northern lights. However, while I would love to have you stay at Pearson's Pond, if the primary purpose of your visit is to see the Northern Lights, please be aware that Southeast Alaska, including Juneau can be overcast making viewing difficult. You might want to consider Fairbanks in January/February for the most likely northern lights viewing.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. Pearson's is the best for weddings! We loved everything about it... Maryann did a wonderful job planning. We had a glacier helicopter wedding and it was the most beautiful experience of our trip. We worth it to have Maryann plan it all :) I wish I could send you a picture. I'll post a pic on the Pearson's Pond link
