We stayed for four nights with a family group using both halves of the duplex. It was very convenient to have the connecting door between the units open so we could be "together." I would suggest a couple of things: wall hung mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms, even small ones would help, and a few hangers and maybe a few...

We recently spent three nights at the Hope Hideaway Cabin. Nicely furnished with a fully equipped Kitchen. Though there were only two of us, three more could comfortably stay in the upstairs bedrooms. Jess and Levi were very welcoming and were accommodating to our needs. There were a few small items that we brought to their attention that would take...

Check out the new fat tire bikes! A fantastic way to cruise through sleepy wintertime a Hope, Alaska. The accommodations are clean and spacious, with multiple beds, full kitchen and bath. So quiet in the winter, I highly recommend! Coffee shop next door serves great espresso drinks. We stayed mid January - cozy, friendly and quiet. This is a duplex unit,...

Great place to get away. Clean, spacious cabins set in the woods. Excellent coffee available on site - breakfast/sandwiches. Fairly new ownership and family fun. Levi and Jess seem like great people and are life-long Alaskans. Google Levi Hogan if you're interested in his Kayaking credentials. When we were there, they had just purchased a fleet of "fat-tire" bikes that...

Thank you for visiting and joining us on our first fat tire fun ride! Thank you also for mentioning we have a happy dog. She is a healer and I am sure she would be even happier if we were biking every day.

Quiet, peaceful nicely equipped cottages that sleep 5+ easily. And 50' away is Turnagain Kayak Espresso serving great Kaladi coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches and more. A great place to start your days adventures in Hope! Hours 7am - 5pm. Wonderful owners too.

Stayed at Hope's Hideaway in June 2016 for a friends wedding. Cabin was pretty luxurious and plenty big enough for the whole family. On site coffee shop has excellent cappuccino and the owners were really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The main street of Hope was a quick 10min walk away. Highly recommended.

The cabins are by far the coziest in Hope. All the amenities of home! Full kitchens! Great for any occasion! When in Hope this is the place to stay. Great way to experience Alaska. Close enough to Alyeska to spend the day skiing at Alaska's premier resort and yet able to escape at the end of the day to the...

This is a beautiful cabin, perfect for any occasion. Would be a great retreat for a weekend exploring around Hope. Great use of space and clean, clean, clean. Wish the hot tub had worked and the bed was more comfy.

Thank you for your review! This is a delayed response, but we wanted to make sure to follow up. Sorry the hot tub wasn't working. Unfortunately, when we bought the place in May 2015 the hot tubs were not functional. We had to remove them from our cabins in 2016. The bed situation, however, we should be able to improve....

Hope's Hideaway is beautiful. So spacious and lots of extras--like a hot tub, for instance. My half of the building has a queen bed and two small bedrooms with twin beds. There's a kitchen and nice porch. It's about a half mile outside of town and tucked away in the woods. Hope is a great little town with fishing and...

Just got back from 4th of July at Hope's Hideaway. Steve and Dorinda were great! Both were very helpful but not intrusive at all. The property is just what we were looking for. It's close to town, hiking, mountain biking, etc... We rented one side and it slept 4 adults comfortably. The fire pit outback is a nice touch(with plenty...

Thank you for your review! We also appreciate Steve and Dorinda for taking such good care of this place. We bought the Hideaway in May 2015 and have been working hard, as a small family owned business, to share its beauty and provide a gateway to an awesome Alaskan adventure.
