We stayed there in March 2017 for a weekend. The location offers a great view over Kachemak Bay and is easy driving from anywhere you want to go in Homer. Our upstairs room was very comfortable and had a deck where we could sit out and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. A bit chilly in March though,...

Well, at first, Anna laid down some house rules, which was okay since it was her place. We really wanted to try out fishing and had a hard time because we didn't book in advance. Anna was really helpful, helping us make calls to the different places locally. She even recommended dinner places and helped us make dinner reservations just...

We had the time of our lives here. The drive was quite extensive but we were all delighted upon arriving at this wonderful bed and breakfast! If visiting Homer, I would highly recommend a stay here. The views are perfect , the owners are highly optimal and the hospitality is above par. They have definitely made our stay all the...

Great B&B with wonderful view from the balcony . Breakfasts are lovely and the room very nice . Away from the centre of town and the Homer 'Spit ' so you will need a car , but peaceful ,quiet and relaxing with friendly hosts . .

We stayed for three nights in June. The view over the Kachemak Bay to the mountains was so amazing that I didn't want to close the blinds at night. This was the most wonderful view of all the B&B's which we stayed in during our trip. The bed was so comfortable too. Anna's breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is in...

We just spent 4 delightful nights at Homer Stay and Play and cannot say enough good things about our visit. We stayed in the "queen suite" with incredible views of Kachemak Bay and the "spit". The bed was very comfortable, the pillows cloud-like, and Anna was so accommodating about our schedule, which included several early morning fishing trips. She made...

What a find! We booked the "Master Suite" which is a large, clean, lovely, room with full private bath and a large walk in closet with a microwave and mini-fridge. The price was very reasonable for Alaska, and if that wasn't enough, there's the view, and oh, what a view! We're talking a full panoramic view that takes in the...

Couldn't ask for better hospitality! Homey, clean, and comfortable. Anna and Byron are gracious hosts, brimming with enthusiasm and interest in Homer and a fount of information about what to do and where to go in this amazing corner of Alaska. Try the bird watching along the waterfront, go sea kayaking, visit the Islands and Ocean wildlife refuge, or dine...
