I don't even know where to start. We are a mixed race couple. Went there for a valentine's day weekend. They woke us up by phone 3 times from 7:00 am, then pounding on the door two times after that. Insisting we were smoking cannabis in our room. We were not. She was so contorted with rage (she believed the...

We have stayed here three different times. The single room was tight for us, we carry a lot of "stuff" when we travel, but the two rooms with kitchens was everything we wanted. The friendly staff makes the stay even better. We cooked most meals, but enjoyed several lunch and dinners in the restaurant, the nicest, and fun staff there...

I realize this is a budget/lower cost hotel, but it is the only hotel on our trip that we would not enjoy going back to. Not very clean, not in good repair. Pluses are a good location, price, restaurant/bar on site.

We were disappointed with this hotel. The room was tiny and extremely hot. The thermostat didn't work so we had to leave the door open all night. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress should be replaced. Management wasn't friendly. The good parts were the location was at beginning of the Spit, TV, bath/tub, fridge. I would suggest pay a...

It's only a short drive to Homer Spit so convenient for fishing trips. All the basics are there, just a little worn and outdated. Second floor room is a little dark - small window looks out to a parking lot. Staff was great ... Promptly replaced the mini-refrigerator in my room when I discovered the original was not working. Restaurant...

A little run down, lose wiring, small room but that's OK, had no intention of staying in. Stuffy but window opens which we prefer to air conditioning, fans provided. Laundry room. Staff very helpful. Restaurant very good with great staff, outside seating with nice view. Near ski-plane airport so a bit noisy early in the morning otherwise the location is...

Small, clean rooms but not a problem. Comfortable bed, nice people. 1st floor is below ground level, so rooms seem dark. Restaurant is excellent! Friendly people, really good food. We were quite comfortable.

Simple and clean rooms. Great views from all side outside of the lodge. Friendly staff. They worked with us regarding our party of six and they were accommodating with our small dog accompanying us. Call ahead when bringing pets. They will definitely work with you, but it is best to give them heads up. Great stay, thanks so much.

This is an old motel with a funky atmosphere with small, dark rooms that have little circulation and it feels very cave-like. The price was reasonable but it was not a great location. There is no free breakfast and it's located right off the highway. For budget travelers it's a decent place but if you like a more spacious area...

Small rooms with no air conditioning about 5-10 minutes from the Homer Spit. Not cheap but nothing is in Alaska. Fun restaurant and lounge connected to the motel which makes up for any shortcomings the room may have. Very close to the seaplane lake so if you are going bear watching you are five minutes away from your float plane.
