What a great little set of cabins at the Ridgetop!! Be prepared for a 1 mile bumpy ride up to the cabins (i.e., Alaskan massage...), but well worth it. We had 4 of us stay in one of the 2 bedroom cabins. Had everything we needed for our trip. Would definitely recommend Ridgetop, really enjoyed our stay!

What a nice surprise. Some cabins tucked away on a hill (I'm not sure if it classifies as a mountain). Steep ride up and then simple, but adequate cabins to stay a night or two. You can even cook a meal if you'd like. The view is obscured by trees, but it was a wonderful place to be for a... More

My husband, mom, brother and I stayed in cabin 5 for two nights and thought it was great! I think the cabins are way prettier, cleaner and newer looking than the website portrays. Ours was also larger than I expected from the pictures. It was peaceful and quiet and just a few miles drive from Denali NP where we were... More

Reservations in the Denali area fill up rather quickly. When I booked one of the last places I could find that didn't cost $400 per night, the owner called to say they were sold out. She recommended I try Ridgetop Cabins and gave me the phone number. The owner was very kind and helpful. My husband and I found the... More

Nothing glamorous, just the basics. Simple a frame cabin nestled up a long winding rough road. So quiet and private-the quietest place. Microwave, coffee maker, fresh towels. Clean and simple. An easy drive to restaurants in town and a 15 minute drive to all the cute shops, day trip excursions and of course Denali National Park Entrance.

My wife and I were looking for a secluded cabin away form the glitter gultch Cruise ship area near the park entrance. The photos on their website looked decent, and several previous reviews made it seem like a mid priced alternative. We booked one night in a standard cabin (Cabin 4). We had no problem booking or reserving and got... More

Alaskan here. Had out-of-state family in town for a week and we decided to spend the weekend in Denali. We rented the large cabin (#6) and it fit a family of 4 plus a toddler very well. The cabin was clean and modern, surprisingly spacious, yet the knotty pine cupboards and doors gave it a rustic feel. There was a... More

Things I really liked and appreciated about Ridgetop Cabins: a. Bed side reading lamps with bright bulbs. Bedside tables with drawer and shelf. Nice mattress and good pillows. b. Coffee and Coffee pot available first thing each morning with creamer and sweetener. c. Hot shower for 3 adults in a row with good water pressure. Nice, thick bath towels. Additional... More

We found Ridgetop Cabins, just north of Denali through the long mile gravel road from the main road. Our cabin was clean and cute. The view was spectacular. Brett, the new owner, and his young family were lovely to chat with and made us feel very welcome. You will enjoy the rustic nature of Ridgetop while you visit Denali!

The owners are wonderful. They have an "internet café" on the enclosed porch of their house (which is on the premises) with a fabulous view where we got good reception on our laptop. Except for road construction delays, it is easy to get to Denali from the cabins. We bought groceries (for breakfast and lunch making) in Talkeetna where prices... More
