Sister and I stopped in looking for lunch and a place to take photos. The people were rude and used foul language (not at us, but we could hear them behind the bar). Better off heading down the road a piece. I just don't understand how people like that stay in business. Rude and unwelcoming.

On our route from Anchorage to Valdez we stayed at Tolsona Lake Resort. Its a good choice with different types of rooms available. The food in the restaurant is good and wholesome and the owners are super friendly. The lake in the morning was stunning but yes the mossies can be bothersome. We always take plug ins and also spray...

We stayed there for 1 night and found it very good. The location was spectacular; the sun setting over the lake. The food was good and well-made. The rooms were clean and organised. But make sure to take mosquito spray because you're gonna meet a lot there. The water for plumbing and drinking water is directly from the lake which...

When looking for a place to stay in a remote area, this is one of the best we have found. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, which almost felt like arriving home to family. Dinner was fabulous - I had the prime rib and my husband had the porter house. Both steaks exceeded our expectations and were...

We decided to celebrate a birthday with the Prime Rib dinner. The prime rib was cooked to perfection (as it was on a visit last winter). The salad bar offered freshly made items and several dressings. The staff is very accomodating (as usual). We enjoy the atmosphere along with the beautiful view of the lake.

We picked this resort due to tripadvisors reviews. We were not disappointed. When driving in, the area around the lodge could use a little tidying up but when we entered the bar/restaurant, we knew we had made a good choice. It was beautiful. We were graciously welcomed by Krystal and made to feel right at home. Two years ago the...

We stayed here on a Saturday night during a snow storm. The room was ok. Microwave, mini fridge looked new; Carpet may have been new as well as curtains. The bed was not but we slept ok. Paper thin walls as I could hear the guy snoring in the next room. In the lodge, My husband had the prime rib...

We were at the resort on Aug. 17th, 2012. The room was OK, Hot Water (YES), clean room inside. Restaurant does not open until 11:30 AM, NO other place to eat near by ! They treated us great ! Let my wife use the washer & dryer free. Room rate on the high side.

We booked our room based upon the location of our work site. We were 5 miles from our worksite which was the main reason for booking here. We pulled and had dinner before checking in, the food was amazing! REAL home cooking by Julie who is always pleasant and singing in the kitchen. As we were checking in, they offered...
