We've stayed at Hotel Alyeska a few times now. It's a perfect getaway for a weekend and fun/cozy in all seasons. I particularly love staying here in the winter when you can take advantage of the skiing. They even have ice skating on the pond if it's cold enough. The common areas are lovely - I like the large leather... More

Whether you are looking for a quick escape from the city, or are visiting Alaska on vacation, a stay at the Hotel Alyeska is a must. I've been coming here for six years now, and always with my family. We make it a point to stay here often, typically every three months or so. Granted, there are not many 'resort'... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Alyeska. It is a beautiful place. We ate Thanksgiving dinner at the buffet with friends and it was very good. The room was really nice and very quiet and clean. The water in the shower was just lukewarm in the morning and the blowdryer was from the 80's I think and barely blew... More

We are Anchorage residents who like to get away from the city, every now and again. Alyeska is always high on the list. It's convenient and close, but also, far enough from our responsibilities to feel like a get away. The King rooms are comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurants is always tasy. The mountain top dining is... More

It was our first time in Alaska. We drove from Anchorage to Hotel Alyeska. The drive was unbelievable. I highly recommend staying here in the fall. The leaves on the way to Alyeska were amazing! Perfect location to explore. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was warm and cozy. We had a small window to view the grounds.... More

Great customer service as always. Very cute fall decorations with pumpkins and even a witch hat on the polar bear in lobby. Booked trip months in advance for 6 nights and was given a room on the 3rd floor with a terrible view. Our room was much smaller with one king bed (we usually stay with two queens). The room... Ski lift during summer gets you access to the trails coming down the mountain, and the accommodation and mountain scenery puts you right in the middle of it. Saw a moose in the lake from the gondola and the view from the top was worth the trip.

I made the reservations as a surprise for an anniversary stay. We were well received by the staff, accommodated in every way I could imagine. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly, and the spa staff took great care of us as well.

We always love to stay at Hotel Alyeska!!! The staff was amazing. Very accommodating to every need we had. The housekeeping staff was the kids favorite people in the entire hotel....chocolates for turn down service and a couple extra on the way to the pool! Pool is great, so warm. It's deep for the little ones so bring floaties. Or... More
