This is a great place to stay on the Kenai peninsula. The rooms are wonderful. A friend and I stayed in one of the "cabins". The "cabin" had four guest rooms in the building. Our room had 2 queen beds, a sofa, wood burning stove,...More

Very remote lodge with lovely large rooms and separate living rooms with log fires. Cosy and warm with evidence of animals passing through. Lovely restaurant with views over the valley. This place was so relaxing with plenty of walks around the lodge itself.

I don't call it the wilderness when there are power lines and homes on the opposite banks of the river. Other than that, this was a beautiful lodge and we were quite happy with our suite. It had a living room with a wood stove,...More

The restaurant prices seem a little pricey. Are there other options for dining that are not too far from the lodge--such as in a near by town. Thanks!
