We had a garden view large room with a separate closet and mini kitchen and coffee prep area on one side and the bathroom on the other. From our deck we could see the beach and it was just a very short walk to the beach. Although it was the rainy season in January when we were

Staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful, however it wasn’t always the same in the restaurant. The honeymoon island tour is not to be missed. We had a ‘beach view’ bungalow, which apparently had been refurbished with a wooden bathroom counter with double basins,

Kia Orana, Thank you for the review. I do apologise for our staff behaviour in the Restaurant, we have identified the "culprit" and steps have been taken to remedy this poor attitude. Our planned upgrade commences in February 2019. We purchased new window systems in June of this year but have not been able to get into the rooms due to record high occupancy levels. I am pleased to say we have reduced the menagerie issue in our Restaurant for now, I was at breakfast today and there was not a chicken to be seen. we hope you will return to see the improvements we have planned. Meitaki atupaka, Nick

The resort's tag line is casual luxury and that says it all. The villas are well designed and set out so that they all have a view of the lagoon. The outdoor showers are a great touch. Access to the lagoon is a short 20 second walk from your villa and there is so much

Kia orana -the "Takurua" is a special feast and fire-dance show - the cost for the evening is $75pp. All of our in-house guests are automatically added to the reservations sheet. Visitors staying at other Resorts are welcome to book for dinner and show at the same cost. We do advise you to book early to avoid disappointment as the show is almost always booked out every Thursday. Meitaki atupaka, Nick

Kia Orana, Being a "high end" coffee drinker I am sure you will enjoy the flavours of our Vittoria rainforest organic beans at our Beachside restaurant. Using with our Faema E61 espresso machine - a retro Italian coffee machine that produces a great crema. We have vittoria coffee capsule machines in our beachfront rooms and nescafe sachets in the other room categories. You wilol have to try some of the other cafes on the Island of Aitutaki and Rarotonga that make great coffee. . Meitaki atupaka, Nick

Kia Orana, We have been conducting in-house surveys in our restaurant and I am pleased to say that we have received good reviews over the past month and are becoming more consistent with the quality of food and service. Our new Restaurant Manager Sharna has introduced a new Menu and with our head chef they have also installed better quality control and monitoring systems of our service delivery. Two of our kitchen staff have just completed a 16 week training course. In Aitutaki - in fact throughout Polynesia we have a philosophy of working with our team - I think you can appreciate that on a small island with limited human resources firing is not an option we would pursue. Rest assured we are constantly striving to improve our services throughout our small resort and we look forward to welcoming you to Aitutaki, Meitaki atupaka, Nick
