We were on a boat so unable to comment on the Hotel facilities. The Restaurant was great. We received a warm welcome and two fantastic fish dishes. There were 7 of us but so much food that we took a lovely fish away to have for lunch the next day. The dining room has a wonderful feel of a well-established...

No communication whatsoever at this place. They do not tell you prices and then whip out insane amounts in the bill. We were charged 6,000f for 2 for a transfer raiatea-tahaa. Taxi price is 3000f for two. We also had to wait for an hour and a half to be picked up. The tour to the motus that leave from...

We stayed at the Le Taha Private Island Resort. We wanted to check out the main island of Taha so our resort made a reservation for us at a local restaurant upon our request. We were picked up at the dock on the main island of Taha by one of the workers at the restaurant and were driven there. It...

The bungalow was the most charming we had stayed in on our visit to the Society Islands: dark wood floor, romantic bamboo bed with net, pandanus leaf roof, terrace and all set in a very pretty garden. We really liked Leo's quirky restaurant-bar with the collection of flags from visitng boats. The food and wine were excellent every evening. If...

We twice moored our chartered 55 foot sailing catamaran at Hibiscus's moorings during our sailing trip in the Leeward Society Islands in French Polynesia. On both occasions we visited the restaurant and were warmly welcomed and served at Hibiscus's small waterfront bar. The place is beautifully decorated, elegant (in a casual island way), and absolutely spotless (clean). When one of...

Happened upon this gem on the water! Safe place to moor your boat, then come in for a fabulous dining experience with Chef Leo! Set menu with too much food, it was really delicious and an unforgettable experience! We were only one table out of three dining there that night! Leo was so kind and friendly and funny!! He organized...

we didn't stay but had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. It was a set menu and although we booked with short notice we were presented with a magnificent three course meal, salad, whole fried fish, beautifully presented on a long platter with lots of lime and capsicum garnish and a fresh fruit desert, all served by Leo's charming adult...

They promise you a lot (discount on tours, free third night) but come up short in giving you what they promise. It's always excuses after excuses. They nickle and dime you to death. Food is good, place is clean but that is all they have going for them. Even written (in email) promises made were not followed through.

It's always a pleasure to come to Hibiscus, i feel like i'm at home. If you came here surely isn't for the beaches or for the luxury but fot the magic atmosphere that you can find here, and why not, cause you are a trustworty and sensible tourist. Cuisine at Hibiscus is everytime amazing, simply the best that you can...
