Tucked away on a tiny little street in San Jose, Casa 69 is the most lovely and inviting inn with clean and delightfully decorated rooms, a comfortable and beautifully decorated living area including TV, computer, phones, even a rooftop terrace. Safe and cozy, attended by a friendly helpful staff - Ralph was especially kind, helping me plan tours, travel, even...

I stayed there when I visited my sister and I loved it! Being a young man traveling by myself, I could have stayed in a much cheaper place, but the charm and, more importantly, the security of the hotel made me want to stay the three nights that I did. The bar next door was never loud, and I didn't...

Casa 69 is full of surprises, most of them pleasant. The location is not the best because of the pubs, but it is only an issue on weekends. Fairly safe. The staff is terrific. Oscar was very attentive and helpful with information about the area and what to do and he will go out of his way to make one...

Warm, charming and comfortable with helpful staff and owner on site. I believe having the owner right there helping adds to the efficiency of the hotel overall. Everyone is positive and wants to help you by offering ideas on what to do and they are all excited about the area overall and what they and the area has to offer....

Expected more after reading reviews that said things like "boutique hotel." perhaps the terrace rooms are much nicer than what we got ( we only stayed one night so were given a very basic room with a tiny bathroom). Wasn't bothered by any train but by an infernal racket at a nightclub next door. Expect this is only a problem...

Casa 69 fits the definition of a Boutique Hotel very well. We have rooms of various sizes, many of which have been recently remodelled. The rooms are bright, cheery, and we have incorporated many paintings from local artists. The pictures on the web site provide a testimonial to this, and we always hear very positive comments regarding the rooms and...

My boyfriend and I liked this little spot so much we went back to San Jose for 3 nights during our month long trip. If you are an animal lover this is the hotel for you. There are several house cats living at the hotel. They are very friendly and beautiful. We have 3 at home and really loved having...

My family arrived late in the afternoon due to not being able to find Casa 69--even with GPS, we drove by it no less than five times. So, make sure you get the names of the bars located next door. The locals could not tell us where it was, even though we had them call (three times) and ask for...

So it was noisy. Other than than, it was wonderful. Very cosy with just nine rooms, beautiful gardens, safe and secure, includes continental breakfast. You can also order a full breakfast for $5.00. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would give this hotel a 5star except for a few things. It is adjacent to the railroad tracks and...

We stayed at Casa 69 for 3 nights and were very impressed. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bathroom was nice, lots of hot water, and good pressure. The bed was very comfortable. We went to Limoncellos for dinner and the food was very good at a reasonable price. The staff was very helpful and even gave us...

Casa 69, a Boutique Hotel/B&B, was our first stop in San Jose. Ralph, Lola and others were very hospitable and helpful. Our room was bright and clean; great coffee and fresh fruit for breakfast. Casa 69 is also located within comfortable walking distance of the National Museum, the National Theatre and the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum. In the downtown area Central...
