We used RCI points to book a two-bedroom unit in this condominium complex. We were given a complementary upgrade to a three-bedroom unit with 2.5 baths. With fans in every ceiling, a fully equipped kitchen, two televisions, and free wifi, we were very comfortable. The property also has a small but lovely swimming pool, which we did not use. Everything...

Reading some reviews of this condo, I wasn't sure we made the right choice. But I am happy to report that we enjoyed our stay very much. We were picked up at the airport and brought to the condo. Check in was easy. The condo was very large and clean and had a nice "Latin" look and feel to it...much...

I feel like I have to write this because based on reviews, I almost didn't stay here, which would have been a big mistake. Our 3-bedroom condo was clean and very nice. People say it's not updated... but what does that mean? When we go to a foreign country, we don't want to stay at the Ritz Carlton-- we want...

My husband and I recently stayed at Villas Palmas for our first trip to Costa Rica. Overall the staff for Villas Palmas were very pleasant and professional. However the condos were quite dated and ours was smelt of food and stale everything. The beds were akin to sleeping on a wooden pallet at best and the sheets were just as...

While we don’t usually take the time to do a detailed review on the resorts we stay at, we felt this one deserves more. After reading many of the previous reviews on Villas Palmas we debated at length whether to try it. We are pleased that we made the decision to do so. Warning: If you are looking for a...

This complex was very comfortable and perfect for using as the central touring location. It is not luxurious but more than adequate. Negative reviews had us worried before we went but the second we walked into the courtyard, our worries were alleviated. The tours from the facility are amazing and more than you could plan on your own. Very affordable...

San Jose is crazy for the North American person who is used to good directions. Here it is the land of directions via landmarks, so driving ourselves to this place was a bit challenging to say the least. It took us an hour to find it, especially since we had no means of calling them. First, you can only check...

The condo contains all you need for your stay except a few spices and minor amenities. Office provided more pillows when asked, exchanged towels on Wednesday and provided washing machines and beach towels. Not at all luxurious, but good enough. Safe and clean. San Jose is not a great city, all the buildings have window bars and razor wire but...

Prior to visiting TVP with my family I read many reviews. There is a scam that you MUST be aware of, going on at this property! Part of the check in process requires the guest to sign an 'open' credit card charge slip. They tell you it is for a $100 security deposit for the room and will be returned...

We did not expect too much after reading the various reviews here and on RCI web site. We a a great unit to accommodate 3 couples. 3 bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms. 2 livings / family room. dining area, great kitchen and laundry room: a room with a cement sink and cloth lines...:). The location is great for traveling in the...
