We stayed here for 3 nights. Marcos at the front desk is awesome. The room is a couple of blocks from downtown and just as close to the water (no beach, but beautiful sunsets). The room was clean and well taken care of but is getting old so don't expect shiny and new. The pool is well maintained. The breakfast...

I stayed there in December 2011 and had a great experience! The staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy with our stay, the manager at the hotel invited us to a great bar names Bambu Jam to watch his band, and I felt like our personal items were safe in the hotel. Great value and highly...

My girlfriend and I booked a 4 night stay at La Sirena based on their good trip advisor reviews and nice website, but only stayed one night. Quepos itself and the La Sirena Hotel are not my picture of a vacation. The town is dirty with trash in the streets and bars and gates on many of the businesses. You...

Quepos is a fairly busy town, and parking can be a challenge at times. La Sirena is a pleasant hotel with wonderful people in a fairly old building that has had some updating and renovation. The room we were in was decent and updated with a lovely bathroom. Overall, the room was smaller than we had hoped and with no...

The hotel is ideally located near the busstation to visit Manuel Antonio NP. We had booked a renovated double room by E-mail. The bed in the room was very small (190x160 cm.) Not comfy if you are 1,93 cm. Fortunately there was another room available with a kingsize bed! The staff who served the breakfast were very friendly. This is...

Lets try this again since it didn't post my last. This is a great hotel for those who come here to SCUBA dive and/or fish. I look for three (3) things on my my dive trips. Is the room safe for my gear, is it located for convenience, and is there AC for the end of a hot sun burn...

I stayed here at the suggestion of a friend. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Other reviews mention the lack of curb appeal but I think it is the surrounding buildings that take away from La Sirena's curb appeal. It is a clean white with blue accents. I would highly recommend...

They call themselves a budget hotel, but they are everything but that. The rooms are modern and immaculately clean (refrigerator included in room). The location is a block from the beach and a two minute walk from the bus station (no taxi needed). The hotel is secure and safe. Across the street is a sumptuous bakery and store for all...

I agree with the other reviewers - this place really lacks curb appeal. However beyond the front doors and reception, La Sirena Hotel is a little oasis! The rooms are all VERY clean, comfortable and spacious. We chose an older room (doesnt have the refurbished bathroom) but we got a very comfortable king size bed. We were also at the...
