I came to the Osa Peninsula to hike Corcovado and see wildlife. The Iguana Lodge turned out to be an ideal location for all the rest, relaxing and eating in between time out in the jungle. I stayed in one of the club rooms located above the restaurant. Despite the close location the room is quiet and not noisy even...

Iguana Lodge is a good choice if you want to stay near Puerto Jimenz on the Osa Peninusla. The owners are very accommodating and pleasant people. The staff was excellent. The accommodations are rustic and travelers need to understand this is a lodge with screened open air cabinas. Osa Pen is very humid and there is no air conditioning. The...

The hotel and it's staff are really nice. The food is good and nutritious. Katherine and Gabriel are awesome in the restaurant/bar and the rooms are clean and well-organized. There is hot water for showers (which is not available everywhere) and the hosts/owners Toby and Lauren are really nice. The front of the house, Mardi and others are so nice,...

Iguana Lodge Beach Resort and Spa encourages and respects all legitimate reviews, both good and bad. About two years ago, we introduced yoga as permanent program. Yoga fits in well with the lifestyle that Iguana Lodge promotes and is very popular among our guests. We also understand that there are many different styles of yoga and because it is so...

The staff there was very friendly and helpful. We loved Gabriel from the restaurant. Osa is a brilliant place and in the jungle. When you stay at there you are in the wild. However, the hotel has wonderful facilities that are all functioning and easy to use. If you are looking for something that is both untamed and yet has...

My wife and I spent 3 weeks holiday travelling around Costa Rica with two young kids (aged 8 and 3), 5 days of which were spent at Iguana Lodge. We're experienced travellers and can be fussy at times, and our stay there has prompted me to post a review on TripAdvisor for the first time. I've been reading some of...

We stayed at the top floor of a casita for two nights and it was the best hotel room experience of my life. The casitas don’t have normal walls, but walls made of mosquito net with retractable blinds to stop rain from getting in. This makes you feel just as if you are staying in the jungle with all the...

My husband and I stayed at Iguana Lodge for 4 nights in July 2014 in one of their club rooms. The grounds are beautiful and we were able to see lots of wildlife over our stay. Macaws regular visit and we got some great photos of Howler Monkeys. They can get a little noisy in the mornings, but we loved...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. I want to especially thank one of the owners. She was able to arrange for us to fly into Corcovado after I told her we weren't going to be able to. This turned out to be the greatest experience my wife and I have had in search of wildlife on 4...

The Iguana Lodge provides a peaceful refuge in a largely undiscovered corner of paradise. The staff and owners are very friendly and provide great service. This is an Eco-lodge and Puerto Jimenez is hot and humid. There's no air conditioning and the heat can be uncomfortable with no refuge, so if you like your creature comforts this isn't the place...
