Flew in to Puerto Jimenez and a short cab ride later we were at Cabinas Jimenez. We stayed for 5 days and it was a great decision. This place and this town is quiet and very chill. We stayed in The Rancho, a large room with a great balcony overlooking the gulf. The view is amazing. Macaws, Iguanas are frequently...

We found this location by accident through a vendor in the Puerto Jimenez. So glad we did. We stayed in the private cabina and found it very roomy and the view was magnificant. Puerto Jimenez is a jewel of a location for exploring and getting away from the busy tourist areas of Costa Rica. Staff was very helpful and only...

We booked four days but extended to seven days. The facility is easy walking distance to town. We had a cottage and all we needed. Took most of our meals on the veranda. It was well maintained, and the location right on the beach was very much to our liking. Management helped us book tours and checked to be sure...

Nice place for a stay in the Gulf of Dulche. Room 1 has an excellent porch with water views. Kayak and bike rentals are included in the room fare, which is great. I def recommend this place for any traveler.

I spent 5 days in puerto jimenez with my boyfriend and we stayed at cabinas Jimenez. We took the standard room as the other were too expensive for us. The standard room is very small and dark, no nice view. It was a little bit depressing on rainy afternoons. The other rooms looked much nicer but we couldn't afford them....

'Dear Guest, I agree with you, that the standard rooms are small... Personaly, I would have made them bigger, if I was the original owner/ builder.... Depressing on a rainy afternoon...? I also, tell my staff, if there plenty of rooms available, to give my guests, a " free upgrade ". We do this often... I am happy to hear...

We spent three days at Puerto Jimenez, and stayed at Cabinas Jimenez just a short walk from the ferry dock. There were five of us, and we rented their Bungalow. It's located only a few steps from the beach and was superb. We had never spent any time in Costa Rica, and we were really amazed at the welcome we...

We missed our boat from PJ to Golfito and ended up at Cabinas Jimenez. Initially eager to catch the first boat the following day, we were so happy at the cabinas that we spent an additional night. Because we were there in the low season, we were given a very great rate. I especially loved that the price included the...

We intended just to stay a couple days at the cabinas, but extended our stay for a full week. The pool was delightful, the kayaks and bikes made getting around the golfo and town a joy. The staff is super helpful, Juan Carlos was especially helpful arranging outings for me and my kids.
