This was our last stop in our 2 week trip to Costa Rica and was a very enjoyable one. The accommodation was rustic but comfortable with AC and the best shower we encountered in Costa Rica. Breakfast was served in the "bar" next to the pool and eggs cooked to order. Dinner was served in the restaurant and was excellent....

Villas Gaia was a sanctuary and a tropical haven. The kind-hearted staff works together to create the serene, clean, and luxurious setting while cultivating a rustic and cozy atmosphere. Our private villa was an oasis—very comfortable, spacious, and complete with AC and private patio. We had front row seats to the tropical world, waking up to howler monkeys and toucans...

We drove passed this hotel 3 times before actually finding it as it is poorly sign posted ~ a problem in a lot of Costa Rica!! We had a garden bungalow which was situated a short walk from reception. There was a patio with seats and a table at the front of the villa. The rooms were adequate but simple...

Thankfully we had only booked here for one night as we found the whole atmosphere of the place very strange. The reception and restaurant staff were friendly but unlike other lodges that we stayed in, all the guests here seemed to want to keep themselves to themselves and not to converse with their fellow guests. We had cabin 17, the...

The restaurant service on the evening of our stay (2nd Jan 2017) reached a level most comedy capers only dream of. Table? No, I don't think so. Drinks? Only if you wait 45 mins. Wine? Nope sorry, fresh out of wine. Oops, just found some, in the freezer, but no glasses. Oh yes, true the tables are all covered with...

Quaint and comfortable eco hotel with bungalows set in a lush rainforest setting that is built in harmony with nature! The staff is super friendly and warm and inviting! Food is also very good! The nearby attractions include waterfalls, outstanding beaches, some with tourists, and many hidden secret gems. You will enjoy your stay if you want to experience the...

For the price you pay this place is gorgeous. The rooms could use some upgrading if that matters to you. Me and my family spend most of our vacations outside the rooms so it didn't bother us. The food at the restaurant was very good. The pool and Cabana had the most amazing view of the jungle were you could...

Nice bed. Bungalow looks old. Breakfast basic for the price you pay. Not much to do in the area accept to go whalewatching or go to a beach. You need a car to go to a swim friendly beach. Playa tortuga is to rough for swimming. Beautifull for a walk tho. Pool was nice.

My husband and I stayed here 10 years ago and have been wanted to go back ever since. It was a tropical paradise! We loved our room in the lush rainforest, watching the monkeys play in the trees, encountering a sloth hanging out in a tree on our way to breakfast in the open air restaurant. I'll never forget the...

Im traveling with our jetski group, and i booked this hotel by our group recommendation, it is a very good hotel in the area, rooms are like boungalows and nice, old style, AC, good sleeping, but the best point is its restaurant, good amount of choices and the quality is great. I can recomend this hotel in the area.
