I won't go into the journey in depth, enough people have filled you in on that already. What I will say about it is that the skills of the boat captain, both in wildlife spotting and in handling the transition from gentle river to rough sea were first class. OK, firstly let me save you a bit of weight in...

I have spoken with our guide Freddie and given him copies of the Hotels evaluation sheet and the TripAdvisor comments that were posted by this gentleman and reminded him to keep his groups together and of course to help those who most need it cross streams etc. I am sorry that the Hotels Solar/Hydroelectric system can not handle hair-dryers, a...

We were here many (4) years ago but will review it because it was so extraordinarily special. As seen on most reviews you board a very short flight followed by a short transfer and longer boat ride through the river full of mangroves. Upon arrival we were greeted with welcome drinks and the views are just unforgettable. The grounds are...

It is always nice to have repeat customers, it is a big compliment that with so many beautiful places in the world that they would comeback and visit us. It is also interesting to hear any comments they might have about the changes that have occured since thier last visit. It's like seeing old friends again. Steven Lill / owner

The journey there was amazing. First a flight on a small 12 seater plane, then a short minbus drive then a boat ride through the mangroves and out to the Pacific ocean. Quite bumpy but exciting. Then wading ashore and a short tractor ride up the hill to the Lodge. All the staff made us feel very special and not "just...

All of the staff at Casa Corcovado tries to make every guest feel special and for us they are. We want everyone to have an amazing experience. We are working with some new ideas and a new young Chef this season and I'm very happy that these clients found our efforts in the kitchen, ''innovative, tasty and well presented''. A...

We came by min us to the Hacienda-the departure point of the boats going to Corcovado. Very nice, we got lots to drink and time to get ready for the boat ride, which takes about 90 minutes down a river lined with mangroves to get to the ocean (can be bumpy). The team is very well organized and helpful; as...

Location, location, location! I do think we have a great location, on the coast adjoining the National Park but what I liked most was the comment that our team at Casa Corcovado was ''well organized and helpful''. We do try our hardest to make everyone feel at home and special. Steven Lill / owner

This was by far the best part of our stay in Costa Rica! The accommodations were brilliant-quality plus jungle equals fantastic. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, excited, and fun! We went snorkeling, hiking in the National Forest, kayaking, fishing, picnicking by the beach, a night hike, and much more. The food and service were top notch and they even cooked...

''Wow'' is good, I like that. I also like that this family had fun, doesn't seem to be anything wrong with that. We are always more than happy to cook up any fish that are caught on our fishing trips, there is nothing like eating your own fresh caught fish. Thanks Steven Lill / owner

It would be incorrect to evaluate Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge as mere accommodation or a resort. The correct evaluation would involve the total experience. Our package included flights to from/ to San Jose: in single turbo prop aircraft, a boat ride through a serpentine river lined with mangroves and partly through a choppy Pacific Ocean before a tricky “beach landing”...

I love the comment, intense, surreal and a little retro, though technologically I'm not sure, our solar system is state of the art. It is hard to make this '' World Apart '', this '' Seperate Reality '' day by day and of course there can be problems. It is at the best of times an intense and surreal experience. I wouldn't have...

I wouldn't believe that this place was real if I hadn't gone there myself. It's in the middle of a huge national park that you can only get to by taking a boat for 2 hours, and there is almost noone else around (there is a tiny town nearby and a few other hotels, but that's it). The place is...

Cynthia is fantastic, we have been lucky to have her work with us for close to ten years. She is also a massage therapist and offers excellent massages in the afternoons. We spent 3 wonderful days at Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge this past March. It is a beautiful lodge set in virgin jungle. The staff is great and the food was deliciously prepared and served. I do think one of the best things about Casca Corcovado is the fact that we adjoin the National Park, surrounded by hundreds of acres of virgin Rainforest in an area where there is little tourism activity. Our guests are immersed in the sights and sounds of the Rainforest. Steven Lill / owner

Set above a palm-fringed beach in tropical gardens, and surrounded by 170 acres of pristine rainforest, Casa Corcovado is the ultimate combination of luxurious comfort and adventure - a place where you can spot big cats on jungle trails, have an entire beach to yourselves, snorkel with manta rays, and relax with a gin and tonic by the pool.
