We stayed at Lookout Inn in mid-April, 2017 with our 2 kids, age 11 and 14. We loved it, and thought it was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. The Inn is located on a hill overlooking a beautiful black sand beach. The water is warm but rough, swimmable if you're careful. Corcovado National Park is about a...

I stayed here in mid-July 2016 with my boyfriend. I chose the Lookout Inn because it is within walking distance to an entrance of Corcovado national park, and it has it's own beach. This inn is off the grid, runs necessities on solar power, has no A/C, and many of the rooms are open air styled cabins. I did my...

Our family of four, including our 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son, stayed for a week at Lookout Inn last week and will remember it for the rest of our lives. Starting with the setting, which is almost indescribably beautiful: The view from the Lodge is of bright turquoise waves glittering and pounding a soothing rhythm on...

After reading the fabulous reviews on TripAdvisor, we were lucky enough to visit for a week in March. For wildlife enthusiasts, it is a paradise. We were so well looked after by Lea, Todd, Estevan, Andy, Martine and all the wonderful team, who provided superb home cooked meals three times a day, and our not eating meat was never a...

Not only is Corcovado magical, but Lookout Inn Lodge is a Must See! We had the most amazing time. Relax on the beach, hike the trails, enjoy the best food in Costa Rica, while seeing thousands of animals and birds. There is no better place in all of Costa Rica!

The place was incredible from the nature that surrounded us to the amazing hospitably that Terry and his staff offered. The food was outstanding as they offered both vegetarian and meat options all while making great traditional Costa Rican foods. It has a beautiful view out over the Pacific Ocean where you can see passing whales, dolphins, and macaws. My...

The Lookout Inn is well hidden as it is built into and up a hillside across from the beach at nearly the end of the road. It is a quaint mix of cabins and buildings, each with its on character. It is a solar powered facility so lacks a few of the amenities a hotel might have, but it more...

We enjoyed our stay at the Lookout Inn ..up with the macaws and howlers and some wonderful photo opportunities. Terry is a great host, and the lodge is well organised ..rooms cleaned during breakfast, etc. The food is healthy and cpious, and the beer is cheap compared to other lodges. The position just above the beach is amazing for seeing...

If you want to experience Costa Rica's nature, the Lookout Inn might be one of the better spots where to stay. You will be sleeping in the tropical forest with no walls, facing the Pacific Ocean.
