My family of 3 were staying in Carate over the Christmas holidays and had dinner at Christmas Eve at Luna's. As we did not have a rental car, Lana arranged for us to be picked up and driven back. Lana and her mother are incredible hostesses and take the time and effort to make each guest feel especially welcome. This...

My family and I spent a little under a week at Luna Lodge over the holidays and New Years, and had an amazing time. We loved every part of Luna Lodge, including even the trek up the stairs to get to our tent (my sister and I had the highest tent in the entire property)- good workout and an amazing...

Luna Lodge was heavenly! Tucked away deep in the rainforest, everything is seamlessly integrated into nature. It is the most relaxing place on earth. There are no distractions from technology leaving one to enjoy nature, yoga, great food and the company of others. I stayed at the lower nature lover tent and it was just fantastic. I had plenty of...

I stayed in the lowest tent and found it to be absolutely adequate, just like a room with an attached bathroom and front porch. (No hot water) The hike was not bad , it was closest to the dining area which was sensational . I found the food to be exquisite lots of fresh vegetables and fruits and whole grains....

We stayed in an eco-lovers tent for five nights in Jan 2016. The tent was fine, but a bit basic for the price - a double bed would have been nice and the view of the sea is impeded by the roof of the yoga suite. It is up a very steep hill, which can be a little tiring in...

I don't even know where to begin. We have been back from Costa Rica a couple of weeks now and I still can't stop thinking about my experience at Luna Lodge. My husband and I have been to Costa Rica before, but never to this area. It's tucked away in the beautiful jungle of the Osa Peninsula. It is definitely...

Luna Lodge--the location, the facility and the staff--offers myriad opportunities for a wide variety of experiences that compare favorably to the best of their kind to be had anywhere in the world. The location is remote and secluded, giving the visitor an occasion to recenter and reimmerse in as nearly pristine a natural setting as a true luxury ecolodge can...

The place is nestled in Raw Experience of Costa Rica. Stunning beauty. Not for the travel that needs hand holding or lacks conman sense. The first I I came i drove in on a rough multiday drive, washed out bridges and rutted roads were part of the charm. Total immersion. Not in Kansas anymore experience. But awesome for the person...

We stayed at Luna Lodge in March for our honeymoon and were blessed with the service, care, and attention to so many wonderful details. Lana and her family are amazing and share their passion for the ecosystem there. The food and amenities are amazing. The views of the jungle and sounds are breathtaking. We stayed in one of the bungalows...

Everything about Luna Lodge is perfect. The food is great, staff attentive, the rooms are clean and have fabulous views. However, the magic of Luna is not something you can quantify - it is something you feel. There is an energy surrounding the lodge that seeps into your pores, and instantly there is peace in your world. The Corcovado National...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Secluded in the tropical rain forest bordering Corcovado National Park, Luna Lodge is a unique resort described by many as "...a piece of true paradise". Its appeal is, not only, its natural beauty and environment, where the heliconia hang three feet long, and the howler monkeys wake you in the morning, but also, its ambiance. The owners' passion for the preservation of the forest is ever present, and the attentive courtesy, friendly staff always serve "con mucho gusto... with pleasure". ... more   less
