The place is simple, sweet, and clean. It's walking distance to the downtown of Montezuma, maybe a 5 min walk, if that, but it's not on the busy street so the noise won't bother you at night. We were here for NYE and the partying will still going on at 4am in the streets of Montezuma but we didn't hear...

Tajalin is a really nice place, only 2 minutes walk away from the mainstreet but still very quiet. The Accomodations are very roomy and clean, safe included. Privat bathroom as big as it can get (hot water included). Nice open kitchen, book exchange, tiny gym area for those who need. Beach 5min by feet. A++ Franz y Franzi

Second year staying here. The staff are super nice and the hotel is very secure. Jeremy, Dennis and Gabriel always made sure that we had what we needed and lined up excursions and a shuttle for us. A big bonus is that the rooms are very competitively priced and centrally located but still very private. We hope to stay there...

I stayed here with my boyfriend after stumbling upon this magical place. First let me say we had planned on one night and ended up staying 10 days! The staff is so warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms are perfect with a hot shower and always clean. The cleaning ladies are especially nice and work around your schedule...

I was looking for Spanish courses in Spain and this option popped up on the web. I thought Costa del sol or Costa Rica, cost wise probably the same! I presumed that I'd be cooking more for myself and found the local Sodas to be such excellent value that haven't cooked once, prepared breakfasts yes, but why bother when eating...

I stayed here with a group of about 10 friends during a study abroad trip and we all had a great experience here. We booked three different rooms, and while 2 of the rooms had a ceiling fan and felt great, my room did not and we were melting. They say they have A/C but it was cooler to keep...

First of all I would recommend to go to and stay in Santa Teresa (approx. 30 Minutes away from Montezuma). Montezuma is really small and maybe okay for a one day trip but I really do not understand the hype around this village (maybe it was "in" 20 years ago but I think that's over). The beaches are so much...

We just left Montezuma after two weeks at El Tajalin. I am normally a bit of a hotel snob but for the price that we paid Hotel El Tajalin exceed our expectations. The hotel staff, Gabriel, Jeremy, Dennis, Gina, and the rest were awesome. Very helpful, courteous and really enhanced our Montezuma experience. The upstairs common space is great. A...
