We had the best time at Luna Lena hotel. The owner is so lovely and helpful. The rooms are sweet and simple and you can request a sea view. Free coffee in the mornings and free yoga in the evenings. The town in just a two minute walk away. In the morning we were woken up by howler monkeys in...

La luna Llena is a great place to stay if you are looking to travel to Montezuma. I stayed here twice while I was in Costa Rica. The amenities are great, there is a full functioning shared kitchen, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and great views and access to the heart of Montezuma. Highly recommend staying here, well worth...

Such a relaxing space with a concentration on wellness and sustainability! Really clean facilities and an all-around zen vibe to the place. Location is great - walking distance from the waterfall, the beach, and plenty of restaurants, bars, and street vendors. A great patio to relax on with coffee in the morning and comfortable accommodations. Montezuma is definitely one of...

Very chill place, really clean and friendly! It's on a hillside in between trees so it's a really zen atmosphere. Great kitchenette to prepare your food. Amazing free coffee! The owner and all the staff are really helpful! Great location, loved it! We stayed in room 1 which has a shared balcony where we enjoyed a nightly nightcap with fellow...

I stayed 3 nights in Luna Llena together with 3 friends, and this place was great. The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to town (5 minutes home, since it's steep uphill :-). We stayed in private rooms with toilet/shower, and I must say, that at first it looked a little spartan, but it completely grew on us. The rooms...

The hotel/hostel was in a great location set amongst the trees with monkeys climbing over the roofs, the hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful with any information required. We had a private room with a large balcony overlooking the ocean, the room was large with twin beds with private shower/toilet. The walk back from...

I was here Jan 2 - Jan 7 and loved everything about it. The location was great. The uphill walk from town might be tough if you are elderly or injured, but I enjoyed the exercise after meals or laying on the beach. The rooms were really spotless and had great fans. The common area was big and cozy and...

This was my first trip staying at hostel style hotels and Luna Llena helped make my first time great. Our room was basic but had everything we needed for the 4 of us, including an oscillating fan. We were upstairs in room #10 so we had a shared bathroom. We had a nice common area upstairs with a fantastic view...

We've stayed at Luna Llena several times. I love the ambiance and the energy of the owners/management. However, your experience will be dictated by what room you choose. Room #15, the private bath with ocean view room, is RIGHT next to the road. We stayed on a Saturday night and it felt as if we were sleeping in Chico's, the...
