I think I've never been so satisfied with a hotel than with this. There's simply nothing to complain of this place. Location, service, cleanliness, everything just excellent! The owners are very kind and attentive. The little houses are beautiful and equipped with everything you might need! The beds are extremely comfy, at night the houses are very fresh and cool,...

We loved our stay at Casacolores. The casas are simple, clean, hot water in the showers. Everything is provided so that guest can cook their own food - a gorgeous breakfast is available at an extra cost. Every member of the family loved this place, it was even difficult to move the kids away and visit or even go to...

My fiance and I stayed here for 3 nights and wanted to stay longer! Wonderful little cabins, fully equipped with everything you could need. Each cabin feels very private, despite being within about 20 feet of another cabin. Wonderful hosts who are happy to book tours and offer advise on places to go, etc. The bed was very comfortable and...

Spent five nights here with my wife this week. Amazing, special spot. We didn't rent a car but walked into town and took a taxi back (5-6.00 per ride) Hotel is run by a lovely couple, very helpful for advice on travel, making dinner reservations, even drove us into town. Lovely breakfast (8.00 charge) fresh fruit, coffee, etc. Well worth...

What a wonderful place! Good price and friendly hosts along with the privacy of having our own lodge hidden amongst the trees but close to the pool and central eating area. This is not luxury accommodation but it has everything you need and plenty of space. It is clean and tidy but of course you get some bugs and things...

My husband and I travelled to Costa for some yoga, surfing and relaxation. Casacolores is a gem just outside of town (recco you have a car). The standalone cabins, wood floors, open porch with dining table and full kitchen were fantastic. We loved the calm environment, nature sounds ( you get woken up by monkeys instead of traffic noise) and...

Brilliant way to start our two weeks in Costa Rica! The grounds are so beautiful, lots of trees, flowers and wildlife, with the colourful houses dotted between. The houses had more privacy that I expected, which was a good thing! They were spacious with a fully equipped kitchen - great for self catering. Plus a large terrace area to eat...

This is great spot to stay for a down to earth nature lover. Just outside of the city so lots of peace. Very family and dog friendly. Nice pool and BBQ area and an amazing private deck to hang out on. We will be back!

Stayed in the 2 bedroom place which was the owners residence before he built a new place, which was great for our family of 5 (could have slept 6 adults easily). There is loads of wildlife around (iguanas by the pool, humming birds, howler monkeys) and Reuben (the owner) was so helpful with tonnes of advice on what to do...

Communication and booking with the fantastic hosts was easy and they provided a lot of excellent inside info of the area as well. Nice, quiet (apart from the wonderful wildlife) and clean. Sufficient kitchen equipment and roomy accommodation. Visited by great birds, including humming birds and woodpeckers. We could hear the howler monkeys as well, which was wonderful. I have...
