I stayed one night here in Hotel Aurora after having the previous night next door at Hotel Tajalin. The receptionists didn't speak any English, so we had a minor language barrier. I know basic Spanish, but they didn't understand me so I was unable to book any buses or tours through them. They were also extremely rude when a friend...

I wish we would've had more time to visit the Hotel Aurora & restaurant. But we had a lovely breakfast outside on their patio! The foliage was beautiful and the "typico" was delicious! Definitely hope to come back another time.

We planned to stay 1 night but ended up staying 4 because it was so nice in Montezuma. The hotel offers everything you need. You have your own coffee in your room, the kitchen was clean and the beach is very close. The people working at the reception were more than friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome...

This hotel is situated on a corner in town and can get loud first thing in the morning but the serivce was great, rooms were spacious AC available for a price, hot water for a price yet all private baths, kitchenette available for all guests to use and centrally located in town. Wifi is best down by reception area and...

We loved this hotel. A little pricier than we would normally have whilst backpacking but was perfect. They charge extra for air con and hot water but we didn't have either. Hot water is 100% unnessisary here and there are fans in the rooms so you can cope without air con. Rooms were warm in mornings though so if you...

As the title states this is my favorite hostel- I loved the chill, laid back atmosphere at Aurora. I shared a four person private room with friends, had our own bathroom & balcony with hammocks as well as A/C for $65 a night. Totally worth it. Went to a reggae beach party for 420 that was a lot of fun....

We enjoyed this place for 2 nights. It was clean and centrally located so what more can you ask for. The price was better than the hostels in town plus there is a common kitchen. We would recommend staying here if you are looking for a simple but clean hotel.

This place is perfectly located in Montezuma but the rooms are neglected. We only stayed two nights and had to change rooms for the second night because the toilet did not work in the first room! The A/C in the rooms were very old and noisy.

We had to change room twice: first time because of the noise (the hotel is right on the main road) and second time because of the flood in the bathroom. We had horrible large roaches in the bathroom. The room smelled. Towels smelled. Water in the shower smelled. The AC was so old that it was too loud when working....

We just came back from our vacation in Montezuma, where we stayed at "Hotel" Aurora. This place looks cute from outside, but it is misleading. The rooms are tiny with only bed in it and thats it! no shelves, no nothing to where you could take your cloths out of suitcase. Which makes it very very uncomfortable. There are huge...
