This place was fantastic. We had our own private cabin that had plenty of room for a family of four. Kitchenette which was great. We loved the open concept and the no screens on the windows. The wildfie was plentiful and the howlers made sure to wake you up in the morning. Pool was fabulous and clean. Great view from...

We loved our stay here. Our casita had a huge deck with a jacuzzi tub surrounded by the forest so we had privacy. The amount of wildlife we saw kept us entertained without having to go anywhere. But just a short walk away was the beautiful beach or their refreshing pool. Lora was such a kind employee and answered all...

We have been there twice, and love this hotel and this little Montezuma village. Hotel rooms are basic, but spacious and clean. Windows don't have glasses, so in the room you can hear ocean waves, birds and howler monkeys. The garden is lovely, the pool well-maintained and from the pool area you have a view to the ocean. The staff...

I spent 6 nights at Luz de Mono from January 9th to 15th, just wish I could have had longer. Laura, Luis, Suzanna and all the staff were so superb. I was on my own and Laura and Suzanna couldn't have been more helpful and friendly especially when I found I had problems with my next hotel booking, Laura made...

I just returned from 10 days in CR and have been anxious to provide a review in support of Luz de Mano. This was easily my favorite experience during my 10 days…. not the best room of my trip, but as far as budget hotels go, it was definitely a positive experience that exceeded expectations. My thanks to the staff—...

Laura provided excellent service that made our stay marvellous. It was easy to witness her professional management skills by the excellent care that is provided here. The rooms were kept clean, the service girls worked well together and were able to tidy the room up quickly. We also stayed two nights in the cabins and were surprised to see the girls...

We stayed in a cabin, in the jungle, behind the central building. It was an experience! Not for everyone, but we loved it - we had a blue jay nesting in the roof of our cabin, who was clearly unimpressed with lights being on after sunset! The bed was not the most comfortable, but everything was clean and the hotel...

If you´re traveling to Costa Rica you´re probably a nature lover and you won´t mind howler monkeys waking you up at the break of dawn. It is one of the highlights of this wonderful hotel in Montezuma. Very close to the beach and with lovely gardens and a pool to relax after coming back from nature walks. I will return...

The location is perfect, so close to the beach! The swimming pool is in the perfect spot for chilling after a long day in the beach or a walk in the mountain. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Montezuma is 30 min away from Santa Teresa beach or Cabuya beach, both beautiful places to visit. We'll come back soon!!
