I stayed here for 9 nights during my Montezuma yoga and surf vacation package. Room #9 was lovely, with w nice cross breeze and a constant soundtrack of waves and jungle noises. I only had to use earplugs a couple of times when there were some noisy people outside, but was never bothered by the sounds of nature. If you're...

This place truely was a hidden gem, right on the water with ocean views from our room. Amazing price and great staff! The rooms were comfortable and we had a terrace with a fridge and outside bar. Very clean and well kept.

We arrived by the end of the day in Montezuma after having changed our itinerary travelling around. We had a little prep of reference and Los Mangos seemed to attract us most and appeared to be most convenient for us. On arrival we hardly got a hello with a smile from a few staff members gattering around at the reception...

I stayed at Los Mangos for 3 weeks as a solo traveller. I stayed in the bungalows which are basic but clean and comfortable. They have a little veranda each with rocking chairs and a hammock which I loved! It's all placed in a lovely setting with monkeys playing in the trees and iguanas playing on the roof. A few...

Me and a friend were backpacking around Costa Rica for a month before settling for a few days in Montezuma. We booked a room at the Hotel Los Mangos. The host was definitely the best we've had yet. Very helpful and just a positive person to be around in general. A great pack of dogs hang around the reception (making...

If you want to experience the real Costa Rica, then this is the place to stay. There are monkeys in the trees, iguanas in the grounds and butterflies in the air. Yes, there are bugs, and yes, the bungalows are rustic. But I'd trade luxury any time if it means going to sleep to the sound of the waves and...

A fantastic hotel, perfectly positioned just on the edge of town so not too hectic and really quiet and peaceful. We stayed in a private bungalow which was clean, super comfortable and the bathroom was great. The room was beautifully decorated and really welcoming. The ceiling fan and free standing fan meant the room was really cool and never hot....

Open first laying down in bed I noticed a large spider on the ceiling. I killed it and convinced the girlfriend that it was not a big deal and we should stay. Big mistake, did not get any sleep as I was constantly battling the insects that would drop from the ceiling directly on to the bed. The place was...

We made an mistake with our booking made in dec 2016, but the hotel had a room free where we could put our luggage. They said that there would be a bungalow available the next day. After visting Montezuma we went back and heard that the bungalow wasn't available the next day also. We went to another hotel we we...

This hotel is definitely known as a yoga retreat. We stayed in one of the Bungalows for 8 nights and it was very nice. The bungalows are one room with a small shower and toilet and sink. We didn't spend much time in the rooms other than to sleep because there is so much to do in Montezuma. The grounds...
