My boyfriend and I stayed here for what ended up being four nights - we arrived in Montezuma expecting to leave after a day or two but loved the town and the hotel so much that we decided to stay longer. The owner is fantastic. He's always around and is so willing to help. He even booked our hotel for...

(I am posting this for my sister and her husband, Leslie and Dino Lampron. This is his account.) We highly recommend this hotel for its location and charm, but more importantly for getting to know Carlos, the friendly and helpful owner-manager. March 2015 was our second stay. After a major fall Carlos drove us more than an hour to a...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in February. We have travelled all over Costa Rica and have found some hidden gems in many areas but unfortunately Montezuma Pacific Hotel was a disappointment. We were greeted by Carlos, the owner, very nice friendly man. Brought to our room which was on the second floor, top of the stairs....

Nice, quiet little place. Great location, cold AC. Comfier bed than most places we had visited. However, what really made our stay shine was the owner – Carlos. He was extremely helpful and helped us book transportation all the way back to playa hermosa for much cheaper than we could have online. He recommended places to eat and was always looking...

Hours before arriving, bag was stolen and I was a dejected 70 yr old and needed a room: Carlos not only provided quiet, secure accommodations so I could rest after this upsetting experience, but went above and beyond to arrange police reports and to confir with...

We loved having coffee with Karlos in the mornings and chatting with him. Such a nice person and very helpful while we were in Montezuma. Clean rooms and comfy beds, great value, great location and close to downtown.

Don't expect the Ritz. This is an older property in need of renovations. However, this is probably the cheapest mid range accommodation that you will find in town during the high season (I paid $50 per night for a single. Multi night discounts are available.) Property is next to the park and about 100 yards from a lovely beach. The...

A small hotel with air conditioning in the heart of Montezuma. Whether walking to the beach, eating at Colores or enjoying the hike to the waterfall, it was a great experience for my family and I. Would definitely come again.

The hotel is very quiet and well located, a 2 min walk from the beach & downtown. Carlos provided us with advise for our stay in Montezuma but for the rest of our trip in CR as well. I would totally recommend this place Amby D

We spent a couple nights here over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. Situated by the public green space in the very center of town (note: the green space affords some quiet compared with a mere 100m down the street), it's a convenient and quiet place to rest your head. Free wi-fi. AC. Rates were very, very reasonable (esp. for...
