This place is a dump, which is difficult in such a beautiful location, Unfortunately we had to stay here as we didn't reserve and couldn't find another room, but we were overcharged (an unbelievable $155 dollars a night) for a room with no hot water and cockroaches everywhere. The room was depressing and shabby and you're made to pay in... More

We landed a room for $30/night. It was advertised as that. If we had paid any more, the review circles would start falling. Pros : when it comes to traveling Central America, this was cheaper than the hostels in the area for 2 people. Hot water, which seems standard in Costa but we've been out of the loop for awhile.... Overall a decent place to stay. Walking distance to village and beach. Comfortable room with hot shower. But, don't get the breakfast. It was a horrible breakfast. We would give it a higher rating if we had a decent breakfast. Tibor & Laura

This is the second year we have stayed here and loved it just as much as we did last year. The price is right, the location could not be better (across the street from the beach), easy access to town, and the staff is absolutely wonderful! The women who work there will get you anything you need with a smile... More

The service was terrible, had to wait a long time to get the room, and we were practically ignored by the receptionist. The breakfast was really bad, was expecting a lot more. Also, one day, we didn't have any water in our room and could not even take a shower properly. As well, on the page the hotel tells you... More

This place is a dump! The pictures on the website are completely misleading. The two rooms we booked were terrible. The floors and bathrooms were not clean. The place is completely run down with black mold all over the outside of the building. It looked like it was an abandoned house when we pulled up. There were bugs and spiders... More

Stayed here for one night because nothing else was free. Pros: Aircondition worked Large rooms Pool Cons: No hot water Rooms were kinda dirty 13% fee on creditcards Breakfast was not good. Bad coffee. 60$ for one night is too much for this!

We stayed in the uppermost corner room 13. FABULOUS veiw! Fresh bedding of cool cotton was luxurious! Close stroll to Manuel Antonio and it's wonderful world class beach, marvelous food and shopping! Two pools where a sloth hung close in the trees, and met the super friendly Tico native people also staying for holiday. Howler monkeys passing in the night... More

Always enjoy staying here! Grounds, Rooms, and Restaurant have new look! Prices vary but still cheapest, best quality, private rooms for any budget. Walk to beach! Two pools! Often see Monkeys, Tukan, Sloth, and even the occasional deer. Some great views and hear the howler monkeys! Best value. Need I say more?

Location is good but that's about it..... I did not stay in the hotel that much anyways... You get what you pay for that's it (I seriously don't think it's worth a 70 USD a night... more of a 20 USD range...)
