Because we arrived at dark it was such a nice surprise to wake up and see this absolutely breathtaking view from the veranda as we had our morning coffee. The whole time we were at vista Serena there was this really good social vibe. We cooked dinner one night in the communal kitchen. The kitchen is great! It's a wide...

PROS: Clean, big communal area, friendly and helpful staff, great view over the ocean, lots of hammocks to lounge in, free toast breakfast, close to restaurants and supermarket, short bus ride away from the National Park and Quepos CONS: Dorms are a little on the...

Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear you had a great stay with us! Sorry to hear there was a little lack of liveliness when you visited us, but to some that tranquility is a blessing haha! Maybe next time you visit us you can come in high season (Dec-February) and you will see a lot of...

A great place. Friendly, helpful staff, relaxing shared spaces and a lovely little bungalow with a family room that also took in the stunning view across greenery to the sea. The view was priceless- sunrise to sunset. The hostel was visited by monkeys, sloths and hummingbirds in the short time we were there. A really good start to our holiday,...

Myself and a group of students I was leading recently stayed at Vista Serena. Nadia who I spoke with on the phone to book the accomadation was amazing in sourcing private transport for our team to get to Manual Antonio (it would have been a major issue taking public transport for 14 people and luggage with about 6 different buses)...

This is a great place to stay. The kitchen is big, well stocked and very clean. Dorm rooms are small but clean and with their own little kitchen and hammock area. Location is great. Less than 10 mins on the bus from quepos bus terminal and then about another 10 minutes from the hostel to Manuel Antonio park and the...

We stayed 3 nights in this place and had a wonderful time! Even though the wheather was very bad at the moment, it was still nice just to sit outside, and watch the rain. Or cocoon and watch a movie on the big screen. On our last day -a sunny one- we were lucky to see the beautiful view at...

The hostel is nestled into the heart of the jungle in Manuel Antonio center with a breathtaking ocean and sunset view over the green canopy. From very affordable dormitory bunk beds to slightly more luxurious private rooms with ocean view- we have it all and it all comes with a free continental breakfast in the morning! The common terrace area has hammocks for lounging and reading a book or just taking a snooze amongst the squawks of scarlet macaws and the touch of the ocean breeze.
