My partner and I loved our stay at the Gaia Hotel and Reserve in Manuel Antonio. The room was luxurious and every window looked out at the most fantastic views of the national park. We saw so many different types of birds and had a visit from one of the cute little squirrel (Saimiri oerstedii) monkeys that are characteristic of...

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Built in too a mountain so a little difficult for us old timers to get around. Golf carts come very quiclkly to take you to the bottom. Some stairs to negotiate to get to the pool. All in all very nice hotel with excellent service. The view from the restaurant, la luna, is breathtaking, but...

The view is superb. The location is amazing. The pool is very nice. The food is also excellent. On the minus side, the studio rooms are not great, but we were fortunate to get an upgrade to a suite during our last night.

This has to be one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed. The pool overlooks the rainforest and the beach. There are monkeys, parrots, and iguanas within reach of each room. We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow and it was perfect. Traveling with my fiancé and his mother it was ideal for our stay. There was a...

“Jungle view suite had excellent views, and the room itself was large.”
 of 5 bubbles chasem8941, 22 Mar 2017 | Read review
“Just a heads up: the format of the hotel, built into a hill, means that certain rooms require a LOT of walking up steep inclines and/or steps, just to get from the room to the pool or the main building. In the heat and humidity it can be tedious, even for healthy people. If you have any mobility limitations, be sure to book a room that doesn't require as much walking around (which may limit your fare options).”
