The rooms are very clean and the grounds and pool area are well groomed and beautiful. You can also view the ocean from chairs . Great location, you can walk everywhere, and/or the bus stop is right in front of the villa and comes ever 15-20 minutes. The best part of all was sitting on our porch and watching the...

Spent 3 nights at Villas Nicolas at the end of an 11-day trip around Costa Rica. It's a beautiful, tranquil place with stunning ocean views and amazing wildlife. Saw tucas, capuchins, howlers, butterflies etc at the hotel. Rooms are beautiful and staff are very helpful. Would definitely come back. The only improvement point is breakfast. Quality and quantity of the...

We stayed here for 2 nights during a 2 week tour of Costa Rica and wished we could have stayed for longer! The Villa's have amazing views and are of a high quality, the staff were also very friendly and happy to help. We would definitely book again.

My wife and I stayed here last week and absolutely loved it. Manuel Antonio is gorgeous and deserves it's reputation, but unfortunately most quality hotels there have become very expensive. Villas Nicolas offers spacious, air conditioned rooms, huge balconies, ocean views, and a great pool area and it's still under $200. The manager, Sheryl, is a wonderful woman and takes...

We stayed here for 5 nights altogether and genuinely believe that staying here made our time in Manuel Antonio special. We stayed in room 6 which had breathtaking views! I was quite lost for words when shown to the room. The room is a good size over looking the pool, with nice door opening out on to a huge veranda...

The room was small but clean . Balcony and views were good. Over priced we were there week day in middle of rain and they charged $150 plus 13% tax. The policies were irritating extra for beach towels extra for safe deposit key... Most hotels near Manuel Antonio National Park seem to only think of $$$ with minimum service. Most...

Arrived after dark. We had some challenges and disappointments in our 1st room. Since the hotel accommodated us in switching rooms the following day I won't go into detail on the issues as the 2nd room (in the same category) was much better. It is important to understand that each room is different at this hotel. We enjoyed the views...

Lovely large rooms with views of the Pacific over the jungle canopy. Nice patio with hammock in each unit. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. Bus stop for Manuel Antonio located near the door and less than a dollar to ride down the 2.5 KM hill to the preserve entrance. Breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, eggs, rice/beans, and coffee/tea included...

Our 4th time over the past 10 years and the property is still as pretty and accommodating as ever! The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable about tour opportunities, restaurants or just relaxing! The property is well-kept and not for the loud party-goers which are found at a other properties in the area. Truly a remarkable spot. Great for bird...
