The location is appealing - a few hundred paces to the ocean, 500 meters from a grocery store. The room are marginal, although they are equipped for rudimentary eating in, with plates, utensils and a microwave. Beds were hard and the linen had seen better days. There is a small and appealing restaurant next door with good food. The most...

the hotel is a front beach, the swimming pool is nice, the room has all the equipment to cook. during the day the internet is not bad, but when all the hotel guest are connected the internet is a total disaster. In my case, the hotel can be a 5 stars but if the internet doesn't work, I will never...

This hotel has one of the best locations in... probably all of Costa Rica. Beachfront access to Playa Espadilla. 10 minute walk to Manuel Antonio national park. Minutes from many restaurants, bars, and markets. Also, the accommodations are very nice, and the pool is top notch.

This simple and cozy property has comfortable and clean rooms in the best location of Manuel Antonio. Guests can walk all to the beach in less than a minute and to the park's entrance in less than 10 minutes. There is no free breakfast, but one can stop at the supermarket and buy eggs and fruit to get by. This...

Well, we came back again for a 2nd time, but I'm afraid that will likely be our last time. You can read my original review from 3 years ago here: https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g309274-d300976-r196063711-Hotel_Verde_Mar-Manuel_Antonio_National_Park_Province_of_Puntarenas.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT Not much has changed since then. I will say first of all, that the staff, as last time, are always great, very helpful and accomodating. Other than that, the...

This small hotel is located right on the beach only 500 meters from the gates of Manuel Antonio. There is a small kitchen with kitchen wear, hotplate, microwave and small fridge. There is also a restaurant that serves delicious food. The pool is small but warm and fun. There is a gate to the beach and it feels very safe....

The beach access is vital. The hotel is well-kept, quiet, the room are reasonably large and clean. The bed quality is great, the shower is good and functional. The restaurant sucks, so for breakfast you actually have to venture out but the options are plentiful and worth it. The pool is great. The monkeys and the birds come as locals.

There's one thing we didn't like about the hotel : the booking system. We did it via booking.com and had plenty of emails requiring to,update our bank details and so on. Weird because we didn't have any problems with other accommodations. After exchanging emails with the hotel and the booking website every thing was finally all right. The major asset...

The wonderfully friendly staff (front desk, cleaning, etc) and closeness to the beach made Hotel Verde Mar the perfect place in Manuel Antonio for me. It has a little restaurant that serves outside breakfast, lunch and dinner; just simple fare along with some good fresh drinks at reasonable prices for that area. It has a friendly wait staff too.

We stayed 3 nights. The Good: The location is excellent, right on the beach, short walk to Manual Antonio, so no need to drive your car. We left it parked at the hotel the whole time. Attractive pool. Helpful, friendly staff. Quiet at night. Clean. Safe in room. The Average: Rooms are aged, no luggage rack, windows don't open, kitchenette...
