I like re-reading the reviews of places after having stayed there. Same with the Karahe - I would have to say that many of the comments before mine are fair, but tempered by better knowledge (now) of the rooms and locations. Like others, I think we would stay here again if we visited the area. But I would not stay...

Location was perfect, liked our superior room. The restaurant was fine for breakfast but lunch was terrible. Pool and grounds need work. If you are staying just for the beach location, I would recommend it, but it was the worst of the hotels we stayed at in Costa Rico. You also had to cross a busy road to get to...

This hotel was booked for us by Horizontes Nature Tours. Fantastic location - We were in a superior room on the beach side (accommodation is set back within the grounds and away from the beach and pool). Access to the beach is through a gate, with chairs available to tote in and out. Beautiful surroundings to chill in - with...

Nice little hotel. The office is on one side of the road and our room was on the other side which was a little scary to cross the street - on a curve - with our suitcases. However, the room was nice and the bar/dining area was lovely. It is outside so you hear the ocean and the prices were...

This hotel was suggested by our travel agency, and since it was advertised as a "beach hotel", and the pictures looked nice, we accepted. We stayed for 3 nights, in something they call "deluxe villas". I'll start with the good things about them. The best thing by far is the view from there, and the other good thing is the...

I want to start by saying that if we return to Manuel Antonio, we would stay here absolutely. Having said that, we did have a slightly rough introduction to the place, although honestly it may have been that the trip there took over 5 hours, and we were a bit grouchy. Not to belabor the issue, but the hotel fixed...

During our stay at Karahe Hotel, we got to enjoy the nice beach access that they have as well as the lovely garden. Room was OK. Restaurant served some good food and great cocktails! You can walk to Manuel Antonio from the hotel.

My husband and I visited this hotel on the very last night of our 8-day trip in CR. After staying in teepees in the jungle for 3 nights, this place was a welcome retreat. Although our hilltop bungalow was a bit rundown, it was clean, spacious, had working A/C, a hot shower, and wonderful views. The included breakfast buffet was...

We stayed two nights. It rained a lot, but we got to jump in the excellent waves and take walks on the beach, as well as a cataramaran tour, also in the rain, but we got to swim in the warm salt water. Unfortunately the Park was closed due to rain on Sunday, and it's always closed on Mondays :-(...
