I definitely believe the hotel was of great luxury a couple of years ago but nowadays it is just old fashioned. The staff is nice and the rooms clean. Breakfast is terrible; don't expect a luxury breakfast (which you would expect with the high room price). Besides that the music in the restaurant is awful and very annoying. For visitors;...

Enjoyed 7 days at La Mansion while staying in Manuel Antonio. Small boutique hotel was wonderful with only about 25 rooms, so you never feel crowded and you get lots of personal attention from the staff. Room was large with king bed and also an extra Murphy bed that we did not use. Large bathroom with walk-in glass enclosed shower....

Can't say enough about this place. 5 star all they way. Typical excellent service, outstanding views, Tucans and Scarlet Macaws in the tree by the pool. Capuchins trying to steal your breakfast. Only room for improvement is the dinner menu. It's good, but would like to see more local specialties.

We arrived after dark, the check in was smooth and he took us up to our room. We had the 3rd floor room with a large balcony. The bathroom was beautiful and large. The room was clean and the air conditioning was working well. When we woke up early, we saw the fabulous view and it took our breath away!...

I had read reviews prior to our arrival, so perhaps my expectations were too high. We arrived at 2 pm on a hot day. Our room was not ready, and while I understand that check in was not until 3... it was obvious that rooms were READY, but they were having them professionally photographed. We were told we could wait...

I feel bad about your experience but our check-in is indeed at 3pm not because of this particular photo-shoot but to alllow our Housekeeping and Operations Manager time to double- and triple check our rooms. I do not understand your notion that it was "OBVIOUS" that the rooms were ready especially since your room was not on script. Manuel Antonio...

This little gem was a great find on our recent trip to Costa Rica. The hotel was beautiful, the view from the balcony amazing and the food in their overlook restaurant was delicious. The bartender sang while he mixed our drinks and the staff and owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Side note: We had...

Wonderfully charming boutique hotel with only 25 rooms. The pool and bar is the best place to end the afternoon. The food in the restaurant is wonderful. Charter a boat out of nearby Quepos and bring the hotel some tuna or snapper to cook up for you. Close to the national park. Very friendly and professional staff.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was huge and had really cool no slip tile on the floor and in the shower. The pool and swim up bar were perfect and the sky lounge was a great place to hang out and relax....

Traveling with 6 we stayed four nights. Loved the views from the pool deck and from our rooms. I would get up early with my binoculars and watch birds. Amazing!!!!! Loved it. Also had monkeys to greet us on arrival and they showed up for breakfast on our last morning. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is excellent and...

Very nice stay at hotel. We got the "penthouse" room which has stunning views, but it was a (very) long walk from the entrance/lobby (up one stairs, 50m hallway, down 2 stairs and another 30m hallway). The pool area was beautiful with a view of Manuel Antonio park and beach. A great place to watch the sunset from. Breakfast was...
