We stayed at the Parador for two nights (May 3-5). We got there on a rainy night (yes it does rain in the rain forest!!!) and we were very impressed with the set up of the resort. It is a large property with covered walk ways so that even on rainy nights you can get around to every part of...

Had a wonderful stay with beautiful views. The only drawback, no direct beach access. There is a little coffee within walking distance which was nice. We rented a car and were able to see a lot of the area. Room was clean and well attended to. Clever staff last is cute animals folded out of towels.

100% perfect service in all aspects. Good place for kids and groups. Plenty of indoor areas to hang out in if it is raining. Really nice spa and spa services top notch. I saw the most animals and rare birds on the trails around this property which are very well maintained so that kids and possibly even a wheelchair could...

The property is beautiful. The room was ok, but we spent more time outside anyway. We enjoyed walking around and spent a lot of time on the Monkey Trail. The food was really good. There were a lot of plant-based options. The staff was all very pleasant and helpful. We definitely want to go back as soon as possible.

This hotel has much to recommend it, but the quality of the food served in the main restaurant really lets it down. The hotel has a fabulous setting. It has a lot of well-maintained grounds, in which you may be lucky to see some of the country's wild-life. Whilst we were there, there was a resident sloth and monkeys. Rooms...

My wife and I have been blessed since we have been able to travel to many places. Having said that and comparing to other 5 star hotels, i would rate this one on the lower side. Service was not good (understanding that easter week is crowds everywhere, but you should expect great service always, specially since we stayed at the...

Finely returned to Costa Rica after 40 years, found the people still friendly, and the country beautiful, I highly recommend it as a vacation destination. The animals were our main purpose for going to that part of CR. Sitting on our deck before sunset saw toucans, monkeys, parrots, and sloths. We couldn’t have been happier. Quepos was a bit touristy...

With a tear in my eye we say goodbye to the best vacation our family has been on! This hotel is more than an accommodation it's an experience! There are garden rooms (we stayed in them) rooms with a view higher up that you get to by riding in a small private vernicular, there are vista suites at the top...

My husband and I had to discuss this review before I gave it. Honestly if it were a four star hotel I would have given it a 4 star review. But it is a 5 star resort. So I rated it as a 5 star. Positives: clean, great friendly staff (except front desk), nice layout, multiple activity option, spa was...
