Given the rock-bottom price I almost can't believe how good this place is. Unlike most budget hotels the owners have put a lot of love and attention into Costa Linda, like the lovely river stone murals in the bathrooms (which do not reek btw). The rooms are small and simple but very clean and most have ceiling fans. The staff...

100m from the beach in the village of manuel antonio, you won't find cheaper. The people working here are really nice, and the restaurant is very good and cheap (big breakfast, good food, good mojitos). The rooms and bathroom are not good, but enough to sleep (no hot water). For the price it's ok.

The location of that place is really great: 3mins walking distance to the beach and even less to the National Park. However, the place is not only rusty, but really disgusting. My room was not only dirty but also smelly, there wasn't any kind of furniture but a "bed" (with a mattress that is almost non existing and made my...

We didn't stay at the hostel, but we frequented the bar during our stay in Manuel Antonio. The staff is friendly, the drinks are cheap, and there's free wifi in a comfortable, chill, semi-outdoor atmosphere. What more could a traveler really ask for?

Ok, they were in the middle of rennovation (or at least I hope), but this hostel isnt great. The location is excellent because it just 200 m from the beach and 300 m from the park entrance. But everything else it didnt convinced me. First there isnt any common areas to hang out, just the restaurant. Rooms are very very...

Pros: Costa Linda was situated in a great spot with close access to both the National Park and Beach. Staff were friendly. Free coffee. Cheap accom. Probably a good party hostel. Cons: Really dirty rooms and bathroom was disgusting. Everything smelled bad. Common areas were dirty too. Didnt want to eat there as everything was so dirty. Really noisy place,...

Went there for only 1 night, got lucky and got a private room for the price of dorms. Room was clean, had a fan, locked well, good value. Great location as its 5 minutes to the beach and all the restaurants, and 5 minutes to the entrance of the park (not worth it - do another park in CR, this...

I live in Costa Rica and when I visit Manuel Antonio I always stay at Costa Linda. The cabins are spartan and simple but inexpensive and the atmosphere is nice and friendly. The location is perfect between beach and National Park entrance. In the restaurant they offer good food at a reasonable price. The owner Michael is very relaxed no...

To say that this place is very basic is quite an understatement. True, it's cheap, but still what the traveler gets is a bad smelling room, a bed with a 'mattress' which is basically inexistent and an impression that the floor hasn't been cleaned ever since. The restaurant is good though, with nice food at good a price, and the...

From the street the facility looks very appealing, and the restaurant and reception area are pretty decent. It is conveniently located about half way between the town center and the national park gate. I asked for a cheap dorm bed but got "upgraded" to a small windowless private room with a fan that felt like a simulated jail cell (LOL!!!!),...
