We stopped at the San Bada for drinks and to watch the sun set from the 6th floor roof top bar by a nice adults only pool. The staff were very friendly, the drinks were delicious and the views were wonderful. We saw several different birds and many monkeys in the trees towards the Manuel Antonio Park. It was a...

We stayed only 1 night with Caravan tours, but the rooms were very nice. The pool area was relaxing and easy to use. There was no bar service at the pool. The food was just okay. Balcony looks out on the ocean- very nice.

We ultimately chose this hotel due to its proximity to the national park and the beach, and the mid-range price range. Not sure if we were biased because we had just come from a luxury spa resort in Arenal, but we weren't totally blown away by our experience at this hotel. There was really nothing bad to say about it,...

Just return from an extended stay at the San Bada. We were there 10 days and visited all the local sites and restaurants. Could honestly say the best dinner in the area was at the San Bada (Congo). The hotel is perfectly situated next to the park so you can see and hear the wildlife and visit with ease. Staff are very helpful especially Waiter. Rooms are spacious and pool is excellent. Only drawback is daily tour guests who swarm in and out and feel they have priority over the other guests.
