This is the most bizarre looking hotel, painted the most hideous colour, consisting of one high-rise building and some botched-together out-buildings, with little to recommend it but its proximity to the Manuel Antonio National Park, and the charming staff. The Park has a lovely beach, but it's quite a walk, and there are more people than wildlife to watch. You...

This was our first visit to Costa Rica, and we stayed at this hotel 3 nights. The location was excellent, near the park entrance, and a few minutes walk to the ocean beach. The grounds, and landscaping were well done. The main pool and smaller pool on the 6th floor were always clean and well cared for. The hotel staff...

This hotel has amazing views of both the park (from the roof and the outside hallways) and the ocean (from the rooftop bar). We saw monkeys from the balconies! The park is literally adjacent to the hotel -- you basically walk past the restaurant, around the corner, and you are at the park's entrance! Our room was spacious, clean, and...

This hotel has fantastic views from room balconies into the jungle canopy. The hotel sits on the border of the national park. we saw both Capuchin and squirrel monkeys from our balcony. Also many birds, including toucans. There is a roof top bar that has self serve coffee at 5am so you can watch the jungle come alive. Listening (and...

My husband and 2 teens stayed 4 nights last month. We chose this hotel based upon good value and reviews. Staff were exceptional! Jonathan at front desk very helpful. And Francisco and Jeff were phenomenal! On day of departure there was an accident involving a tour bus that closed the only road out of Manuel Antonio. Were it not for...

Hubby and I were on a Caravan Tour and unfortunately we only stayed at San Bada for one night. Our tour arrived at the hotel at 1:30 p and we immediately left the hotel and raced through Manuel Antonio Park (which closes at 4). We then headed back to San Bada Hotel to check in, and then up to the...

Loved the location of this hotel, right next to the park entrance, They also have a tunnel that takes you to the public beach. The rooms are clean and spacious, however both our rooms had a musty smell and when I asked my other group members they had noticed that as well.

The hotel is in a great location and beautiful. However, I have asthma and am gagging in the room from the smell of mold. Open your window when you get in the room.
