Mid range hotel that succeeds in providing top level service. Large and comfortable rooms with beds that were quite comfortable. Hotel provides a basic and limited breakfast, but it was nourishing nevertheless. Wait staff were amazing.

This little hotel was so peaceful, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast service, nice little pools backing on to the jungle, helpful staff and the suites are cool, quiet and furnished beautifully. The hotel was visited by monkeys and a Jesus lizard ran over the pool while my daughter swam (chased by the hotel kitten who was also a great plus...

We were very positively surprised by our stay at Plaza Yara. Starting with the terrific staff who helped us plan some activities, transportation, and meals - we have paid triple for a lot less. While there, the staff went out of their way to be helpful - Javier even drove us to one of the restaurants on his way home....

Love, love, love this place. Warm staff, beautiful art gallery and a large sparkling clean suite with the jungle as back drop. Our room had a patio with a table and chairs that led out to the pool. A microwave with a bag of popcorn! Your choice between 5 or 6 options for breakfast, no buffet here and yum! And...

Friendly, helpful owners. Spacious rooms with a fridge, microwave and a sink, and thus the alternative to make simple food yourself. Safe in the room, wi-fi works. Good selection of different things at breakfast. In the mornings you are likely to see monkeys outside the terrasse. A nice, quiet outdoor area surronded by a junglelike garden. The only real downside...

This place is lovely, the seating area under cover makes you feel like your surrounded by greenery and the pools are lovely. Our room was huge clean and quirky we loved it. The bus to the park is quick cheap and easy and the staff were really helpful. The only negative would be the breakfast was quite average.

Very warm welcome at a bright reception, filled with works of art for sale. The rooms were clean and spacious, and there were several choices at breakfast. Nice touches were the popcorn (there is a microwave), coffee and fresh milk . I did not like having to ask for a hairdryer at reception, nor the fact that there was nowhere...
