My husband and I stayed at Claritas back in mid November for a couple of nights. We were married at Villa Caletas (review posted) and stayed there a few nights then moved on down to Claritas in Jaco. One of the members of the wedding party also stayed at Claritas. All in all we found the grounds to be safe...

I just got back to Canada from Clarita's and want to commend them for their attentive consideration. The place has a great ambiance, right on the beach with the roar of the surf and the cool Pacific breezes a constant reminder of how lucky you are to be there. I am a wheelchair traveller and the Two David's who run...

Clarita’s- I recently visited Clarita’s 3/6-3/10 and I had a wonderful time. I would say that this property is well suited for adventurous couples, fishing parties, or bachelor parties that are just looking for a good base of operations while exploring the surrounding area. Clarita’s is not a destination by itself. There are no activities, water sports, pool, etc. What...

After booking my stay online at Claritas website, I was quickly engaging with Clarita herself by e-mail with my accomodations. Once we arrived we were greeted with beautiful smiles, given a complimentary beer and seated only feet away from the beach. You can take a taxi from there to downtown but everything is certainly within a 5-10minute walk. I felt...

Clarita's is a wonderful establishment that is right on the beach. Great food, ice cold beer, wonderful sunsets and better hospitality. You could spend a lot more and get a lot less. The rooms are basic but very clean, staff is helpful, generous and the ambiance is fantastic! You would be hard pressed to find a better bang for the...

We found this hotel thru Trip advisor and it was a good find. I don't know if I would stay in Jaco again but for our few nights there Claritas definitely was a good choice. We were on somewhat of a budget but the rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. The food at the bar was very good....

Great place. My 8th time there. Clean and nice basic rooms. Staff is a lot of fun. Right on the beach with good food and more importantly cold and cheap beer. Plenty to do in the area. Basicly a one of a kind fun place.

Los Suenos' hell-raising, cigar-smoking, tattooed and pierced little sister. Loved everything about it, but especially the service level, the bartenders, cleanliness of the room and property, safety, Clarita herself (a hottie!), and location on the north side of the beach. Recommend to anyone, but especially those looking to get away from a boring Marriott.

Don't let the name fool you. Clarita's is owned by a businessman in the US. More on that below. The place is old and run down. The food at the bar is limited, the drinks are not potent. Clarita's would be OK for a some friends going surfing, but not good for a couple, a family, or anyone used to...

Don't let P73arsam Fool You! Hola Amigos: Clarita's Beach Hotel & Restaurant is operated by a very proud Tica business woman. I only hire U.S. business men to help me collect in the states from the few people who run up hotel and bar bills and leave without paying. And bye the bye, I have not hired U.S. business men...

Great little beach side hotel. I discovered it walking down the beach on my first visit to Jaco. Once I found it, I ditched my cheesy hotel bar and spent most of my time here. The bartenders are friendly, the atmosphere is laid back, the music and the food are good and the view of the sunset is a perfect...
